ProvenceTristram Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Neat! Small, but functional! This is just the type of model Lego should be producing for AFOLs. Quote
Aine Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 What pantelis wrote! I really like the ship, and it'll be a nice 1980's set! Quote
zoth33 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Very nice little ship. I like the use of plates and tiles. Nice design. Quote

Thank you! I hope Lego produce more models like you've mentioned in the future. 14 hours ago, pantelis said: very nice ship with lovely old minifigs.. Thank you . Things look better with old minifigs. 7 hours ago, Aine said: What pantelis wrote! I really like the ship, and it'll be a nice 1980's set! Thanks . Though some parts used in this ship doesn't exist back then, not to mention the reddish brown colored pieces. 2 hours ago, zoth33 said: Very nice little ship. I like the use of plates and tiles. Yep, that's true. I don't know why lego was so hesitant about using brown, after all they made wheels in that color, so the possibility was for many more stuff. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Very nice little boat! Sleek shape! Quote
GeoBrick Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I can already see it moor in the Medieval Village set. Quote
CedBricks Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 (edited) Very cool little build, goes perfectly with the nice old minifigs. Edited April 28, 2019 by CedBricks Quote
Aine Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 btw, where is the sail from? Is it lego, is it diy? Quote
mrcp6d Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Very cool MOC at a very useful size. I can easily see a few of these in a larger harbor dio. Quote

Witold Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 This is great! I like you decided to build a proper coga. I like the high platforms on the ship's bow and stern. Quote

Maybe it's due to hue or maybe thanks to lighting, but it really looks like a piece of cloth! Man, this is so nice, I really like it! Quote
Hive Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Now I really want LEGO to do sails in that colour... very striking. Quote
Aine Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 Yeah, indeed, the contrast with hull is nice, and the big plain blue sail really shines! Quote
Wellesley Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 That is indeed a neat little ship:) Have to look into the Historic Themes subforum more often:D Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 For a first share ! it's a great one ! I totally love this little cog ! Excellent design and it seems so sleek ! Great build ! Keep up the good job ! Quote
rodiziorobs Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 The build seems simple enough when you show the "how it's built" shot, but the shape of the hull flows so well it seems like it should be more complicated. The sail is very well executed, and it has a definite charm that fits right in with our collective AFOL nostalgia. Quote
