This is reality and a lesson I want to share ..... I thought it was a joke when anyone buys a Buwizz and adds one 1 Medium or even a 1 L motor to the 42075 or the 42093 and at Ludacris mode, the single motor hooked up to the diff... is no faster then the dust devils in the Mojave desert,,, The Lego set 42093 needs power and speed to recreate the horsepower the real Vette needs... if it took 2 XL and you think just plug it in and it would work... then you're wrong!!!!! The Coupled Xl motors wil shear the gears off your axles and this is where the real mechanic to build and design begins !!!!! I don't think your MOC or MOD can handle a Buwizz at full power!!!!! kids please help the confused ones!!! Quote
sirslayer Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 and I do wish Lego Technic Group design better motors in the futures. @Idris Legos does plan to stop all sales of Lego technics PF elements by the year 2020!! Power up or third party will define the Lego "RC" after the year 2021 Quote
Idris Posted April 26, 2019 Author Posted April 26, 2019 Just now, sirslayer said: Gear sheared from bad design.... this is my badge of honor.. can you shares yours?? Owww... I remembered a YouTube clip, when an MOC expert FINALLY managed to make a gear system, able to raise 100kg! He also included the small clips when the system simply did not work until he managed to reach success after almost a dozen failed attempts. Patience, patience, patience... I am sure you will get your real badge of honor. Power up or third party will define the Lego "RC" after the year 2021 @sirslayer, really? What about the upcoming Mammoth Liebherr 9800? I personally do not think they will stop the sales of PF elements... I think they get inspired by the MOC experts and modders. To be able to continue that inspiration, I think; not only they will NOT stop sales of Lego Technics PF elements, but also they will "put more back into it" (excuse my French). It may not seem to be a parallel example but, the almighty Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio was inspired from Ferrari California. That's how they managed to create a 2.9 Liter V6 with 503-505 HP and also managed to create almost a perfect structural integrity, even on RACE mode. In my opinion, don't worry. More LED lights, more powerful and functional motors and better stabilizers will come. But if they do stop the sales of Technics PF elements, still, don't worry, I'll just go to the LEGO HQ and do my protest Quote

So the current PF will indeed be phased out. There will still be motors and all the stuff, but they're new designs, and probably new wires too, so probably not compatible with current PF... Quote

Ah, ok, you're right, I think I saw it in the new train systems, am I right? Also possible to be connected by Bluetooth? Quote
allanp Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 The Liebherr comes with a new system called CONTROL+, which isn't quite the same stuff as seen in the trains but it is controllable via smart phone. The powered up hub in trains has only 2 ports but the CONTROL+ hubs have 4 ports and possibly tilt sensors (1 CONTROL+ hub is found in the SUV and 2 hubs are found in the Liebherr). The spike hub is also different, having 6 ports. Quote
