Posted May 26, 20195 yr Well, my Scania SLT was only built to have a proper Transport solution for this one. Picture Source The scale will be roundabout at 1:16,7to fit to all the 19 wide Trucks out there. Width at the outside of the tracks will be 25 Studs. Wheelbase of the primary track Rollers will be 28 Studs, Height overall roundabout at 33 Studs. The length overall? I guess roundabout 75 Studs with Ripper. The main problem probably will be a proper raise height of the shield without destroy the look. Enough words. time for the first Progress
May 26, 20195 yr It's nice to see that someone has taken up such an interesting topic, I have been preparing myself for some time to the dozer (another manufacturer), but it will be some time;) Knowing how interesting is the geometry of the blades in dozers and how difficult it is to construct real ones ;) I wonder how much you reproduce the movements of the blade: only lifting and tilting or full range: lifting, tilting and pitch? I will be happy to review the progress of work :) Edited May 26, 20195 yr by Bricksley
May 26, 20195 yr Author The pitch of the blade is on the to do list, but first i have to get the look and how much i can squeeze in it.

That concrete beam transporter I was showing earlier is one of them. But I must say that looking at your ideas give me some motivation for building them :)
May 26, 20195 yr Author Sounds good. I had to rebuild the bonnet a bit too because the main angle was a bit to large.

June 1, 20195 yr My question is which sprockets do you plan to use (since I did not look after sprockets size if real machine)?

June 2, 20195 yr Michael, is it possible to see what you did below black tiles round 2 X 2 at the left side of cab? Thanks
