July 2, 20195 yr Another great set in this next wave of technic releases. The b model is just as cool IMO. Might have to grab 2 of these to display both.

July 5, 20195 yr Double HOG for this one - one located on top in between the decks for car - In case of car stocked on the top, a second is available on left side of the truck. I must say it's a clever setup...
July 5, 20195 yr Yup this thing has 10 dials and one crank. I wonder if @efferman will make a longer trailer like he did for the mack anthem Edited July 5, 20195 yr by SNIPE
July 9, 20195 yr Hmm, im somewhat disappointed by the cab, the front made up out of a few of those mud guard panels seems very light on detail, and the inner stucture seems pretty simple. Looks like it has plenty of playability, but for display purposes, the mack is far superior. Shame to see they made the same crank-shaft mistake on the muscle car as on the corvette, luckily it is an easy fix, and only the most detail obsessed car nuts (i.e. me) will even notice or care.
July 9, 20195 yr my first thoughts, I had the original feeling that the telescoping boom part from Acros was going to be used to raise and lower the decks on the car transporter. Does not look like it uses any specialist parts. Trailer looks odd, like it's missing a set of wheels, and the ramp solution on the trailer, although playable looks awkward when stored. I'm starting to think this would have been a good cheaper set without the trailer, instead maybe including a second car. But anyway. If this set had been made how I would have liked to see it, the truck would be shorter in length, only 1 rear axle, and the trailer would be longer and tri-axle in design. but it's definately a good set with lots of MOD opportunity
July 9, 20195 yr Author The trailer has a pair of landing legs, but I can't find the knob to lower them.

July 9, 20195 yr Author 3 minutes ago, Anio said: No, it doesn't. There's a pair of small wheels in front of the trailer's big wheels. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the small wheels moved up when the rear ramps are extended. Around 0:32 - 0:33. Maybe they aren't landing legs.
July 9, 20195 yr For me it is one of the best Technic sets in years, playable, with some interesting mechanisms and with a few bricks like a Technic set used to be.
July 9, 20195 yr Author I think the small wheels in front of the trailer's wheels are movement limitors.
July 9, 20195 yr The overhead-steering at around 0:10 looks really unreachable for bigger hands... there is a second steering wheel somewhere on the cabin right?
July 9, 20195 yr This is a really handsome set, with lot of playability! I am pretty sure we will see lot of interesting linkage mechanism under the hood.

If you mean the wheels right in front of the main wheel, i think they are waaaay too high up to stop the trailer from hitting the ground. And as good as the front of the "muscle car" looks, the back looks really bad. Im getting serious ford pinto vibes, rather then the camaro front.
July 10, 20195 yr I thought the little wheels might be the stand for the trailer, but it doesn't need them given the wheel spacing. Definitely a mechanism there - will be interesting to see what it is.
July 10, 20195 yr Author In the video, the small wheels moved up when the rear ramps are extended. Around 0:32 - 0:33. It looks like the movements of the wheels are linked to those of the ramps, so I think the small wheels are movement limitors.
July 11, 20195 yr By the way, this set is listed for preorder on Lego.com, for $179.99 USD, and the official part count is 2493 parts, making it a pretty good value.
