Cyclonis Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 Woo, that grabbed your attention, didn't it? Well, right now I'm excited because I found this on brickshelf: Viking Lego photos The photo is HUGE, but heck, it's worth the wait! This guy probably works for TLC, cause from that pic, those Vikings are 100% official! And check out those faces-they're awesome! and here is his folder, but the only other pic is of some guy with a shark-head??? Post Comments, Questions or any other related stuff here. Quote
Jipay Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 The sets started to show up on some europen stores so it's not a surprise. This guy also made the lego inside tour. What a beautifull minifig. Now thats what lego should have always been done Quote
ImperialJohn Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 I am going to be VERY pore when Vikings are released :oD Quote
Cyclonis Posted June 25, 2005 Author Posted June 25, 2005 ...and they look like they're compatible with the lego beards! and RedBean's custom beards aswell! Quote
sam89 Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 I think these pics are from the Inside Tour. The person with shark head is Victor Krum from Harry Potter. Quote
Bmwlegolover Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 :oo I AM BESIDE MYSELF. I LOVE VIKINGS. AND LIKE SOMEONE SAID BEFORE, I AM GOING TO BE SO POOR AFTER THEY RELEASE THESE SETS! Quote

Starwars4J Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 This is fantastic! Any word on if they'll be made available at US S@H? If not I'll be counting on a few of my european friends here to help me out ;) Quote
The Middleman Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 Within a week or so, I'll have four figs minus weapons/shields. I'll post pics. ;) Quote
Starwars4J Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 One thing I'm worried about is that the axes will move too easily. I'm almost worried about them slipping around the pole, or sliding down it. Quote
Cyclonis Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Oh, well I am worried about them being too hard to get off the pole... Quote

eDeevo Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Is it just me, or do those "axes" look like they can be removed from the rods? If they are, they look like they could be attached to any color rod... which is great for a customizer :-D Life is Good. Quote

tindwcel Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 On the down side ( there HAS to be down side ), I see they use those horrid KK2 swords >:( Quote
The Middleman Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 On the down side ( there HAS to be down side ), I see they use those horrid KK2 swords >:( Well, the way I see it, if there are any unusable colors (read: blue, red, black, etc.) then I can just replace them with the bronze/gold/silver swords from my large KK2 collection. I'm prepared! Quote
sam89 Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 Here's some exclusive Vikings pics. Please don't link to them directly. Quote

gylman Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 Meh, I can take or leave the playsets. The boat looked better in my memory than in real life. The really good feature is the figs/weapons/shields. I am looking forward to adding to my keychain collection. Gyl Quote

That is good news... although I will be happy to trade off those blasted power-ranger swords... Life is Good. Quote
sam89 Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Could someone who knows how to do it download the pics onto Eurobricks' server and upload them and remove the old links? Thanks. Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 It doesn't seem to work...we need someone with experience in pictures... Quote
