Eoin Wallace Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Hey ya'll, I just thought it would be good to make an index of my mocs so far for this story, in case there is someone reading this: AoM Tower Phase One AoM Tower Phase Two Mirandor Castle Woodland Ambush Orc Outpost I will also be away for the next little while but i'll try to have another build in around 2 weeks. Now, on with the story! Eoin had made up his mind. He had sent his scouts out to look for the base of the orcs and after a few days, they had found it! It was close to the heart of the orc marshes, in a ruined watchtower. So Eoin had assembled his finest warriors expecting a fight, but Erdan had come out and challenged him to a duel! Of course he had to accept it was the only honorable thing to do. Besides, it would resolve this whole incident once and for all! Soon, the duel started going badly for Erdan... he fell in the water! Eoin thought he drowned. he was not so lucky... As Eoin was leaving Erdan bobbed to the surface, spluttering and cursing and moved out of sight. Then vowed to get his revenge on Eoin, no matter the cost... Quote
zoth33 Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Nice little scene. I like the orc outpost. The terrain is neat, especially with the swampy water. Nice figs and good story. Quote
Aurore Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Very well done! I love the look of the ruins, and how they have been converted as an outpost by the orcs. Quote

It's a bit hard to notice, but there are even some places on the wall where the stone has fallen away but the orcs replaced it with wood. Quote
Grover Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 Good grief! You’re tearing it up with new MOCs! Very nice work again. I like the color choices here: the dark green grass implies to me it’s an older more shadowed grass, and it fits with the crumbling wall, which is very well done with the plate layering and the section askew by the way. The bright lime green is a nice juxtaposition and offsets the other darker colors, calling attention to it. The skeleton hanging near the banner is a nice touch. It appears that you have part of an interior wit the bottle and the small railing near the muck, too. Really enjoying reading of Eoin and Erdan! Keep up the great work! Quote
TitusV Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 A nice little scene for sure! The outpost is small but really cool, I especially like the details of the wooden section Quote

Ayrlego Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 As the others have commented, you've managed to pack loads of great detail into a small scene. The ruins are excellently done and blend in nicely to the surrounding landscape. Not sure I'd be happy falling into that lime green water either! Very nice work! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Ruins can be rather tricky, but you handled them well here. The section of tumbled wall looks quite natural, and it's really cool how you can see glimpses of the tower interior through the boarded up hole in the side Quote

Louis of Nutwood Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 The thing that impressed me the most is how fast you come up with new MOCs, fellow wanderer. I really like these ruins! The fact that are bits (literally) almost falling is amazing! It feels like being in a swamp. I really like the green pond. Great MOC, once more, Eoin! For Valholl! Quote
