Idk but May 4th is on a monday this year so having a promo run friday-monday makes much more sense than monday-wednesday/thursday

Btw I really hope the Rey and Poe figures from the advent calendar are the ones from the Pasaana Chase and Y-Wing, those figures are fairly expensive and I really don't care about those sets

It would be cool to get Pasaana Rey but with a hood (recolour of the new one). It would really add to her Jedi look, and she actually wears it in the movie.

Same, I just ordered the Poe figure from the Resistance show (the one from the Black Ace) so I really hope that's not the one we get in the calendar!

Crait would look pretty good with the ski speeders drawing up plumes of red dirt behind them.

I think it's almost 100% pasaana rey, and hopefully Poe as well, since the figures are usually figures that appeared in sets a year or so from the release of the calender.

I think it's almost 100% pasaana rey, and hopefully Poe as well, since the figures are usually figures that appeared in sets a year or so from the release of the calender. 

Don't bet on it, we usually get one "new" figure (as in a figure with new printing or recolours) per calender, and that's sweater vader. Also I think the old hood looks more accurate to her in the film, but it would be nice to get the new one in white.

Not counting on it as I know it won't happen, but it still would be cool tho.

The display pieces have been getting better as they come out. I could go for a few more even if I would prefer a polybag (Even if not a Revan or TC-14 quality. A Yularen type would be fine). I do prefer these to the R2 and BB-8 GWPs from a few years back.

Same here. Brick-build droids<brick-built displays< or = figure polybags, depending on the diorama and which figure.

It would, we need more colours for that new hood.

Slightly off topic but if we don't get a S7 ahsoka, you could make her siege of mandalore outfit pretty easily with ayesha from the marvel sets' torso but with orange arms. Not really sure what to do for the legs though.

I can't tell if you're joking (mostly because of your username ) but you should definitely buy your first real UCS.  They are expensive and addictive, but the A-Wing is a good place to start.  If you can still track down the Y-Wing or Snowspeeder for a good price, I would recommend those, too.  The Slave I and Red Five X-Wing are both flawed, IMHO, and the more recent System-scale versions actually look better!  I passed on the TIE Fighter because it failed to impress me.  But I am seriously excited about the A-Wing!

Would you be able to cover whether or not they're hollow, as well as some size comparison? I'm considering getting the boba fett one, but can't get a sense of size.

Don't worry, I was joking, I'm content with the three packs I already have.  (which is probably still too many...). Thanks for the advice on the A-wing, I'm trying to decide whether to get it or a helmet and the AT-AT when it comes out, but your advice is making me lean towards the A-wing. It does look really good, even for the UCS standard.

I’d say if you haven’t already been collecting UCS, maybe don’t get the A-Wing and save for the Razor Crest and the AT-AT. I have every UCS set since 2010ish so I can’t possibly skip it (not that I would want to). This will look great with all the other Alliance fighters but without any others it may end up looking a bit bland on display comparatively

As someone who has never bought a UCS set, I love the A-Wing (the actual craft) and have to have it. It would probably be cooler with the other alphabet fighters, but as its own thing, I think it's still worth it. It's down to what one would rather have.

@Mandalorianknight I would suggest waiting to see if you like the AT-AT just as much or more when it gets revealed. That way if you end up feeling the A-Wing's not for you or the AT-AT is disappointing, then there's nothing lost.

Already pre-ordered the Razor Crest, but I'll wait until the AT-AT is leaked before getting it or the A-wing.

Don't count on it. August sets usually leak either in May or June, but not as soon as first days of May. There's only a slight chance it will happen.

Sorry, @Mandalorianknight, I didn't mean to pressure you into getting UCS sets.  I just thought that it made more sense six more Mandalorian Battle Packs (like I said, I thought you might be serious about that).  

In all seriousness, waiting for the AT-AT could be a good idea if you're on the fence about the UCS A-Wing.  I suspect that the A-Wing might be backordered for a while, but I'm sure it will be available for well over a year.  

I really want to know what that mystery retailer exclusive set might be.  Ah, well, time will tell!

The Advent calender figures are ok, it will mostly depend on what version of Luke, Rey and Poe we get.
 

Another Battle droid though really? nothing comes across more lazy then the yearly pointless battle droid. No one really needs more and theres plenty of other Droid figures that use similar pieces. Maybe K-2S0? A Medical droid? Commando droids or Superbattle droids. Surely adding one of those in place of a battle droid would be cost effective, especially since their molds were only very used once or twice, and most have cost a fair amount to create in the first place.

Its not even like their ever even commander, security or Pilot variants. Come on Lego up your game!

Don't worry, I didn't feel any pressure. And yeah, I hope we see the retailer exclusive too. I'm hoping for either the gauntlet or something from the empire strikes back for the 40th anniversary.

I agree, the whole thing of battle droids is overwhelming numbers, it's good to get them in stuff like that.
