After Attack of the Clones and TCW, Boba Fett is just a whiny brat to me. And even in the OT, he fails hilariously. I really hope they don't make it canon that he somehow survived the sarlacc pit. Spoiler I personally like the idea of him surviving the Sarlacc pit. The idea of Rex returning once again was always kinda eh for me, sure I love him in TCW and Rebels but with the accelerated aging process there is no way he wouldn't have died of old age by the time The Mandalorian starts as he would be 41 real years at this point and even if he's still alive he wouldn't be able to do much action. Spoiler We know he fought at the Battle of Endor, when he would have been ~35. Now he'd be ~40. Difference of 70 vs. 80 for non-accelerated people. So he'd be roughly equivalent in to Billy Dee Williams a couple years little older than Harrison Ford in real life, and about 8 years older than Carl Weathers. It's not crazy to think of him still being alive and doing things, even if not as a soldier. He could easily be a wily old man who knows lots of things and is still a good companion to Ahsoka. Quote

THELEGOBATMAN Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 Not sure of it's been mentioned, but on the back of AT-AT's box there's a "Play it in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga" art. No special code for this one tho. Quote

I wouldn't be as upset if 75318 is real and a baby yoda statue, it would actually make sense both set-number wise (it comes after the brickheadz) and pricewise, but if the $100 set we know is coming is a baby yoda statue, I'll be severly disappointed. Rumor is its the 75318 and not the 100 $ one. People shouldnt be disappointed cause we didnt even know that set is even coming until Landino said the number and then Ryan said whats the rumored set. Its also great for people that dont like razor crest and already have at-st raider to get "the child" for 50$ - 70$ instead of bricklinking just the minifig for 10$ - 30$ Quote

Pirean_Grammaticul Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 just a heads up, ccbs (the buildable figure system) has been retired for over a year so that buildable baby yoda rumor is bunk. someone get mandr a restrainer Quote

It's certianly possible, and makes sense considering the set number, but I wouldn't count on getting it for that baby yoda just yet. Kit Figsto Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Well, if the rumor is true, I'm torn. On one hand, I can't be disappointed since this set wasn't even on a lot of our radars until very recently, so it's not like we're "losing" out on a possible minifigure-scale set by this being a statue. On the other hand, I will definitely admit that I was hoping for something else from the Clone Wars (I only picked the show up after D+ came out, so I wasn't all that interested in the original sets and only own maybe two TCW specific sets, so any more would be welcome for me), so I might have a little bit of disappointment that it's another statue. It does seem strange that they'd do another statue when they just released both the D-O bust (which is about the size I imagine The Child would be), plus three other $70 busts geared towards adults. It'd really suck if the retail exclusive was also some sort of bust/figurine rather than a vehicle/location/scene. By the way, there was the rumored mosaic a while back (some people were reporting it was either Vader or Maul), does anyone know what ever happened to that? Wasn't that supposed to be an end of summer release too, or did it get cancelled? Or could 75318 be the mosaic? Quote

There's no way he'll be more expensive than the set itsellf, so unless you sell the rest of the set on bricklink or something, it would still be cheaper to just spend $30 or whatever on the figure. Although the cheapest option is to put a CW yoda head on a 1x1 brick 1 hour ago, Fuppylodders said: I don't understand all the dislike towards a buildable baby yoda set... If it's anything like the one wintermoog made from the original yoda set, it'll be a great set to have I think it's more towards getting two statues in one year. Though that is a great MOC, it also does kinda illustrate we just got adult yoda statue last year, do we need a baby Yoda statue this year? A creator expert set leaked and it uses a similar boxart design to the helmets and a-wing. Dark background, small lego logo in bottom left corner, set name in white text with horizontal lines above and below it. I find it strange they're using that similar of a design, since lots of star wars merchandise meant for adult collectors seems to use that design. Edited May 10, 2020 by Mandalorianknight Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Thanks all for the information! The new AT-AT indeed is a notable improvement over all previous ones: - all needed minifigures for maximum playability included - room for the canon and the speeder to store - great function to get Luke up to the body of the AT-AT - room for two piltos inside The only thing I don't like is that they didn't include a Snowtrooper Commander again. I more and more have the impression that either the big D2C set for (likely) fall or the rumored smaller exclusive set for summer will be a Hoth set. What do you think? Quote
