Thats right, you need to be at least an mod to have access to the delete option.

I don't think there is a way to let access to the delete button be so selective as to only affect our own posts.

Meaning that the delete button is in much better hands with the admins, else people start deleting other peoples threads.

Well, I don't know how this thread looked like before vcvc's editing but the image I'm seeing now (R2D2 trying to date a trash can) I think is funny. Especially the usually beeping R2D2 "saying" something like "oh, mom" :)
