Fenghuang0296 Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 I wouldn’t call Ghost Story a Lloyd-focused season, he wasn’t even in half of it. Well, until we find out what MoM stands for, I’m gonna keep calling S13 ‘Ninjago Underground’. Quote

Takanuinuva Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Hm I wonder why some sets have a white skull sword and others have a black skull sword. Perhaps there are 2 of them in the story? A Yin Sword and a Yang Sword? There was only 1 Djinn blade in the Skybound Season despite multiple existing in the wave. Quote

Opposite power swords sounds like a thing. To be fair, the Djinn blade never even looked like it did in the sets, in the show the gem was always green and the blade white. And it was supposed to be able to channel the elemental powers of the Ninja it had trapped, but I don’t think we ever actually saw it do that. 1 hour ago, Lordofdragonss said: It is better for production if they can split in on half. Really? So the demand in the US is more-or-less equivalent to the demand in the entire rest of the world put together? Wow. Quote

In descriptions on a Czech shop site they were described as "shadow sword of deliverance" and "ivory sword of deliverance" (obviously Google translated so the actual English names may vary). Both actually appear in the biggest set of the wave—you can spot the other behind the very clever "lava fall" entrance to the cave. This coming wave is actually comparatively light on "collect them all" style MacGuffins. EDIT: Just editing because I noticed something about this coming story arc. Is it just me or is it one of the best so far when it comes to the distribution of the six ninja? All six of them appear in at least two sets each—Nya, who is often the least common ninja (which never really struck me as fair), even comes in three! The baddies are fairly well-distributed too. From the looks of it the only figs who are exclusive to a single set are Wu (in his small dragon set), the new golden-haired character in the biggest set, and the "Spinjitzu Burst" ninja variants (which, granted, leave out three of the ninja once again). It's a shame the other two main "subcategories" for this year have been so much worse about that. Poor Zane never got a Digi-suit in the Prime Empire sets OR a Season 3 variant in the Legacy sets. I'm still holding out hope for the latter... since some of this year's sets do revisit seasons one and two of the show, it'd certainly be a dream for a future wave to include, say, a Legacy Ninjacopter that included not only an updated Zane but also an update of Pixal's classic appearance! Ooh. Maybe it’s an ‘ebony sword’ and ‘ivory sword’? That’d be classy. I’d love an updated classic Pixal! Honestly. She’s basically one of the ninja at this point in the show, but they gloss over her so much in the sets - she hasn’t even appeared in a set since 2018, despite having a prominent role in the show in every season since the Movie. TeriXeri Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 (edited) I doubt it's just played on paper, as those sets clearly have squares to put figures on, with arrows and such and connect to form a bigger board after all. I can understand it being played on paper with some sets as they don't really have a board, but when connecting multiple sets you get a more sizeable area for sure.
