There is a somewhat large sloped piece. You can clearly see it on the back of the Skull Dragon.

Wow...I really have no words for this wave.

This might be one of the best waves for Ninjago. I was originally happy to buy the Journey to the Skull Dungeons set but now looking at Skull Sourcers Dungeon. I am amazed that this is even a set. It has a mix between Temple of Doom from Indiana Jones, Skull Island from the Pirates theme, and the goblin caves from the Hobbit.

I might need to buy both of these sets

All these sets look awesome.  The dragon is great.  Can't wait to build these all the builds look great and the figs are incredible.

The foil bags are <10cm and the Legacy blister packs are <16cm

This theme of these summer sets is really interesting, while I have mixed feelings of switching from 'your in a video game' to a board game.

Still the sets have that castle/Indiana Jones feel and I love castle and adventure themes.

In fairness, we don’t actually have any proof yet that the board game thing is actually part of the plot. It might just be a gimmick in the sets, and the plot is just the Ninja venturing underground to fight this Skull Sorceror and his orc/goblin/skeleton minions for reasons. Hell, we don’t even know for sure that the orcs and goblins are even related to the Skull Sorceror, they might just be random monsters that the Ninja encounter along the way. 

But the sets are gorgeous and I’m going to get them even if the plot’s terrible.

Quick question about the story of the Prime Empire season. It's about the early episodes but I'll put it in a spoiler tag anyway:

In episode 4 we see the ninja enter Prime Empire and find Jay, who has been in there for some time. The next episode (episode 5) is fully centered around Okino as setup and when we see the ninja again in episode 6 they suddenly all have their Digisuits and weapons. Where did those things come from? Did I miss something? Is it just poor continuity?

No, you didn’t miss something. It’s implied that Jay’s been preparing for their arrival and got them all weapons and suits and information between episodes, and the dialogue in Episode 6 more or less explains it.

I still feel like the plot of Prime Empire was originally intended to be at least four episodes longer, if not more, and they had to cut out a fair bit of stuff to make it comply with the sixteen-episode limit.

Has there been any sign that we will get Digital Zane? As I understand he is in the show, and it's very unusual to not get the full set of ninja in the toys.

He wasn’t in the show. Zane wore his Forbidden Spinjitzu outfit for this whole season, the only time we’ve ever seen a ‘Digi Zane’ was in one piece of promotional concept art.

Doesn’t mean we won’t get him though, they did a Tournament Zane a while back.

In I believe episode 3 Cyrus Borg states Zane and Pixal can't enter Prime Empire as it might override their programming so Digi Zane is not in the show

I was really happy when we got tournament Zane, so fingers crossed for Digi Zane.

Hey, I just noticed. Out of the six ninja, only three of them get vehicles this wave; Kai, Cole and Zane. (I mean Kai and Cole share but still.) And it’s also those three who have gold armour, while Lloyd, Jay and Nya have silver armour. Interesting coincidence.

That's another thing I really love about the S13 sets: barely any vehicles!

And that's a good thing, while I liked Nexo Knights , it barely had any locations because they literally "forced" every knight to have vehicles.

That is a definitely something that deserves some appreciation... This is pretty much the first Ninjago wave ever not be be mostly focused on vehicles.

Meh not a fan of the color scheme,the emphasis on grey makes the whole wave look painfully dull.Between this and MK,I'd pick MK without a second thought.Atleast MK has a nice color palette.
