Ransom Fern Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Hey guys, I combined the two official sets and made this. Really wanted to get the proportion right on this one Doesn't fit a whole Minfig but I manage to put a head in there I made a Jackhammer arm to go with it as well He can punch, but it takes some cheating There's a lot bricks left over and I cobbled this together And here are instructions, if you want to make your own. There's a lot of left over bricks but I also had to use the small extra bricks that came with the sets to make this Quote
Vindicare Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Looks great. It has a more bulkier feel, especially in the shoulders, which was the biggest con in the Ultron Edition one. Quote
Kevin Flemming Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 (edited) Man, I wish this was the official Hulkbuster set. Looks so much better than both originals. Fantastic work! Edited August 4, 2019 by Kevin Flemming Quote
DeCommander96 Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Great work! Now you should do one with the other hulkbuster lol Did you use pieces from the side builds as well? Like the cage from the 2015 one Quote

Like the cage from the 2015 one Yeah, there's a modified plate with clips that I used in the torso, the tan jumpers in the Jackhammer arm and the 2x2 grey slopes in the support unit. I think that's all Mostly though, you're going to need a lot of 1 x 1 s Edited August 4, 2019 by Ransom Fern Quote

The bulk of it took about 2 weeks but i have been tweaking little things for a month and a half after that. You can even see some differences between the one in the instructions (which is newer) and the one in the photos Quote

Thedarkmaster2 Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 I like the little car build, what kind of car is it though? Quote
Gusseteer Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Nice work, any plans to make a brick built Hulk to scale with this? Quote

I didn’t have anything in mind in particular, just a generic “hot rod” I guess 1 hour ago, Gusseteer said: Nice work, any plans to make a brick built Hulk to scale with this? Thanks! I find it difficult to build without limitations. Almost everything I build are alt models so I don’t think I’ll tackle that Hulk :) Quote

Kristof Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 Looks stellar! Proportions are key with these models and you nailed it. Quote
DutchBlockhead Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Already starting to sort through my parts to see how many of the parts i have to recreate this. Sadly i didn't grab the Hulkbuster in stores because i didn't like the model. But now, i do want it! Quote
Cole_Da_Earf_Ninja Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 this is amazing! does it have a light brick? Quote
