Posted August 17, 20195 yr Good Day. Continuing my futuristic series of racers (Ximos , Xonox & Azimus) is this one - popularly called "Bugeye" in Xalax races - Scarab in 1:10 scale Features: BuWizz v1 2x Buggy motors RWD independent suspension m-motor with return to center working steering wheel detailed 1:10 openable canopy light up power core and "dashboard" Overall this was just a filler build with very basic chassis that served as a test platform - bucket seat with actual driver, front suspension with only one shock (part #48912), independent suspension built around buggy motors. This was as well an excuse to use some "new" Bionicle parts on a build and SILVEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!! In the end it turned out OK, but steering was somewhat weak leading to a crash into my pet roomba effectively destroying the car (driver was okay so crash safety test passed?). Incomplete LDD file (the chassis and seat is there, only missing bodywork, power core and steering wheel/dash assembly. download Bonus: Crashed car and fuming driver. Cya later! August 17, 20195 yr And I expected a WRX So obviously my first thought was like "Hold up - the f is this? This is no WRX!? This futuristic styling is not my cup uf tea, but I like the driver figure. And the front suspension with the shock going above the steering motor is pretty cool as well.

I like that. Nice futuristic styling (I had my eyes on these tyres and rims for some time now, but now they're a must have I think) and nice track selection. I'd recommend something from Lazerhawk's Redline album for one of your next race car MOCs.
August 17, 20195 yr Beautiful model and amazing features: I like the light of the cockpit and the steering system!
August 17, 20195 yr Wow, I completely forgot how much I love that old school look. We really should use those panels more often
August 19, 20195 yr Author Thanks everyone for C&C Already building something else with those panels, will be getting sometime a Silver Champion to extend the part inventory as well))) @Gray Gear I don't think a realistic model would be expected from me, it takes a lot of patience and talent to build scale cars @johnnym Thx, techno-trance always sounds futuristic in a 00's way to me) That music you recommended would be great for a synthwave supercar, can't wait to get working on that Spoiler Edited August 19, 20195 yr by syclone

Reveal hidden contents That might be true for large scale cars, and I know you dont have the patience for it, sine you are more of a "built in 1day" than a "built in 1 year" kind of guy. But you could definatelly try it in the scale of your little Roadster. You wouldn't have to get everything perfect, but just the major caracteristics right. Just dont try anything with pop up headlights and you'll do just fine.

Not sure if that's practical or if it will really look good, though. @Gray Gear To delete an @ reference it worked for me to move the cursor directly after it and hitting backspace two times.
