dugmence Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 (edited) Here is my latest MOC. A train station built for Bricks in the Six Convention, which was held in Toronto last weekend. Approximately 60 hours was spent on this project. Roof alone contains over 5000 pieces. My estimate for the entire MOC is over 15000 pieces. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Pdaitabird Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Wow! The curved roof and lighting look great! Quote
sed6 Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Wow, stunning! I like how you took the background out of your pics. At first glance I thought it was a render. Amazing build. Quote
neonic Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Great build, especially the roof Like the lights too, cool. Quote
Roadmonkeytj Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Love the lighting effect with that trans roof. Its an impressive build indeed Quote
Man with a hat Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Wow. Amazing station. That roof is a nice piece of work. But there are a lot of ice details there as well. I like you made some stairs to go under the platforms. They look great. Quote
Chiaroscuro Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Wow. Impressive roof and design. Congratulations, Quote
dugmence Posted August 21, 2019 Author Posted August 21, 2019 @Roadmonkeytj my favorite picture is actually the last one, from the side in the dark @Man with a hat I will try to upload some pictures of details, I think there are some really nice ones Thanks Roadmonkeytj, Man with a hat & Chiaroscuro Quote
JasperL Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Wow. I like how it's way different from stations usually shown here. Keep up the good work. Quote
Merlict Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Man this is ridiculously good, beautiful design. Needs some better custom trains to go with it though! Quote
dugmence Posted August 26, 2019 Author Posted August 26, 2019 (edited) @Merlict I have never tried to make a train. Once I've made an additional car for red passenger train in LDD, but nothing more than that. Thanks JasperL and Merlict As promised, here are some details of the interior Edited August 26, 2019 by dugmence Quote
lego9vtrainfan Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Very nice station! I love the interior details as well. What is the technique used to build the roof and attach it on either side? Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Superb station and brilliant roof construction! I like also the details of the shops inside the structure and the entrance to the underpass to access the docks! Quote
dugmence Posted August 29, 2019 Author Posted August 29, 2019 @lego9vtrainfan for the roof was used typical brick bending, nothing special. The roof is attached to the rest of the buildings with bricks with clips, which are attached to the flag poles, on the roof of the building, there are plates with clips. thanks lego9vtrainfan and LEGO Train 12 Volts Quote
