Anak Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 (edited) Is Andrea's car a store exlusive set? Did not found in this year's catalog. Edited January 15, 2020 by Anak Quote

I'm sure there are regional differences to the catalogs but that set is in the latest catalog over here and I got the set from the Lego shop site. Quote

I think there’s a possibility that it could come with another character due to it’s fairly large piece count of 240. Hopefully if it does it’ll come with a new character! Appearantly it seems so, months ago someone else from Europe spotted this too. This is our hungarian 1HY catalog with the normal retail sets. No sign of it, same with the new City Safari Car. It's a pity. https://catalogs.lego.com/brandcatalog/1hy2020/reemea/hu/?fbclid=IwAR0UgWZXbxsasEDKpz3guBO43IuviUBUcC6Ia_2bkULZjvHahlrlHyl-eEA&page=1 Edited January 15, 2020 by Anak Quote

The ones that are sent in the mail here have prices and piece counts for every set, and also somewhat silly each set lists "measures over X inches tall and includes x minifigures!". I find it totally odd they wouldn't have that set in Hungary, why? Quote

The set is sold on the Hungarian LEGO.com, so they have the set, but I think he means it's not in regular (web)stores (with discounts) Also for The Netherlands , the set is only sold on LEGO.com right now. I saw the US catalog video and it's indeed very different from the European ones (which were square shape since even way back in the 80s) , and some countries do show prices still, others don't. Yes, you read my mind :) Btw this is the german catalog. Again a little bit different one (in a strange way, because on page 2 you can clearly see the safari jeep, but nowhere else), without both mentioned sets, other set prices are now inclueded. https://catalogs.lego.com/BrandCatalog/1hy2020/de/bc-1hy-2020-dea/?page=2 It looks like both sets are exlusives in Europe. I don't get it why. For reference, here is the international 1HY catalog https://catalogs.lego.com/BrandCatalog/1hy2020/reemea/enmea/#/ Edited January 15, 2020 by Anak Quote

Maple Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Oh darn. Maybe I should sell off my old Adventures elephant before the blue and pink ones comes out. But gardens, waffle house and animal rescue is always nice. Also anyone know German? Because Beach House with Treeboat is... interesting. Quote
TeriXeri Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 (edited) Waffle house likely use that newer 1x1 waffle tile seen in the Upside Down and Chinese New Year Temple. Also Garden sounds interesting. Beach Houses are usually nice as well. Edited January 28, 2020 by TeriXeri Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Fashion shop sounds interesting might want to copy it in city style. Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted February 7, 2020 Author Posted February 7, 2020 Thank you very much for the news! The Jungle wave doesn't interest me. But from the other wave there might be some nice sets - esp. the water park. We'll see how the sets in the end will turn out. Quote
TeriXeri Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 (edited) I do hope the summer wave is nice. Just saw how mega overpriced the Hospital is over here, €60 for only being 4-deep inside and 379 pieces. That's the same price as the much better 2019 Restaurant. 2020 Hair Salon isn't bad however. The hospital is really expensive everywhere. It doesn’t even feature too many rare or particularly large pieces. I wonder what that’s about? The hairdresser is great for its price though! Those two are the two extremes when it comes to value in Friends. ;P Quote

The frame is white and the window is blue. Why not use them in this set? So far the only set with the window and frame is the lighthouse from last year. Quote
ZordrakLordofknightmares Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 the animal rescue sets are the ones im more interested in especially with the tiger elephant and panda I am interested to see how the water park turns out though Quote
DragonElves Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 (edited) Series 2 cubes have leaked, looks like we’re getting a llama mold in different colors as well as poodles, teddy bears and owls Edited February 19, 2020 by DragonElves And turtles Quote
TeriXeri Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 (edited) Those cubes are getting better for sure , cute little vignettes/scenes or little shops. I also like the Magazine gifts as well, the newest one being a Hot Dog Stand (yes I know sounds famililar) but I think it's really nice for what it is. I must say I haven't actually bought a Friends set yet (beside some cardboard playmats), but the theme is growing on me in a positive way. Edited February 19, 2020 by TeriXeri Quote
