What if Lego just choose the most popular archetypes from the first few series (or the ones they think are the most popular)? It sounds to me like not all the series is going to be a remake and it definitely won't be a full 1:1 replica of the first series. 

I remember years back Lego made a pack of 4/5 minifigures from various series that they thought were the most popular, including the CMF elf. Maybe it'll be something like that?

I think we all might've been fooled about the Series 20 rumors. Harkonen deleted all his posts... Head over to Ninjago 2020 thread for the overview of the situation. I'm not gonna try to explain the whole thing, since my English is far from perfect and I would probably mess something up.

Woah woah woah. I was not his informant. Not at all. I spoke to him 2 times. Once to see if he was legit and the next was to tell him most of his stuff was fake. I doubted his info from the beginning and I said that. I am not a scumbag that would give people fake info like that and I don’t want people thinking that I am a person like that

That would explain why the torso is plain white.

Looks plain to me, probably helps with a poncho..
I have not much use for a piñata and I feel it have taken the spot of a new animal mould
It also gets me a little worried it is "party" themed since I definitely do not want a repeat of series 18
I give it 3/6 since it could definitely be a better more useful fig, but could also be worse.
The kids will probably love it and for some reason I see piñatas for sale in grocery stores in Norway now, so a trendy item I assume..

I guess there is a high chance for more leaks now

Hmm...I am somewhat divided over this leaked minifig. I'm disappointed by the lack of print on the torso, even if it's hidden under a poncho - Series 19 Frightening Knight after all had chainmail hidden under her armor. Yet I really enjoy the cute piñata piece, and the poncho itself may look great.

When i opened this site this sentence was the first thing i saw completely out of context... It sounds just so wrong ...

The two cmfs with ponchos had no torso print, too. The new mould is fantastic. I hope we see it recoloured as a plush animal. Would be great in a modular toy shop. I´d just wish the piñatas colors were a bit different with bright red, standard yellow and medium blue instead of these... The one thing confusing me is the plastic bag. Looks like the ones used for knockoff figures, doesn´t it?

No, these days the figures that come with a cloth piece tend to have the other parts in a plastic inner bag

It does look like a fun and worthwhile archetype for the Collectable Minifigure theme; but yeah, why no printing of any degree on the torso?  Now that they're charging $5 a bag here in the states with the advent of the DC Universe CMS, they just shouldn't be cutting corners like that...

Yeah, I’m not interested in another generic ‘party’ cmf like series 18, especially since I normally don’t go for the costumed characters. 
 

However, piñatas are pretty specifically associated with Mexico, unlike the very generic children with birthday hats seen in series 18. It makes me wonder if the entire series couldn’t be internationally themed, with different party traditions from around the world. I think I could forgive series 20 for being another party theme if it gave us that kind of cultural diversity.

I haven’t seen the image, but could the torso not be for this minifigure? Like the series 6 leaks when some were mismatched form other figures in the series?

It's sealed inside the bag with all the other pieces.

Tbh I’m fine with an unprinted torso on a figure that gives us a new sombrero colour, a new piñata piece and will have a poncho to cover
