efferman Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 iam not so good as you think. btw only the brickbuilt bucket is missing and only 3715 parts included Quote
Richombx Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 (edited) So you will have 300 original pieces left over but how many new parts will need to be ordered to complete your modifications? Edited November 18, 2019 by Richombx Quote
efferman Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I still have to make the brickbuilt bucket and then try to reduce the needed extra parts. give me a few days Quote
efferman Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 ok, 4108 Parts in set, 4001 parts including new undercarriage, 494 leftover parts from Set = 387 extra parts Quote
WvG_853 Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Looks fabulous @efferman! Your MODs are the equivalent of a Pimp my Liebherr edition ... Quote
Richombx Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 My bucket has been shipped by shapeways, can’t wait to see it. Hopefully it’s not hard to find a paint to match dark stone grey Quote

efferman Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 no, the file is only for playing in stud.io Quote
Richombx Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Dulux has a basalt grey that looks rough enough to match the color hopefully. Should have the bucket in the next two weeks Quote
efferman Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 Step 133 and the undercarriage is divided. Hopefully stud.io gets a update with set as origin in the instruction mode. On big models some points are hard to see when everything rotates around the same point. Quote
efferman Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 Step 343 and the undercarriage is married with the boomless uppercarriage. Quote
Richombx Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Must be getting very close to seeing all your hard work done Quote
efferman Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 There is still a lot to do, even the cable routing needs a lot of time Quote

I would suggest to make your segments a tad longer than needed to avoid the gaps (Studio renderer shrinks a bit everything to create fake seams between bricks) Quote
