Sounds like they severely nerfed the apartment building, but that was to be expected. I just hope it has a back to it.

I really hope the build isn’t compromised cause of the new molds

i can see the building being a similar scale to one of the buildings in diagon alley. Hopefully a bit taller

That's what is worrying me at the moment. The Original Ideas proposal showed 2945 pieces for the set. If it's only $120 USD for everything,I don't see how they include everything from the proposal. More likely would be a fascade or something like HP Privet Drive with only some of the main characters that were proposed, and all those were just printed miniatures without (possibly any) new molds.

I hope that is the case. If it's similar to something like Olivander's or WWW, then i can still see the bulk of what the original ideas project staying intact just slightly smaller. Hope it's not a facade.

Assuming the leaks are legit, I like what I see so far. But if they don't have Big Bird, its a no sale for me.

I hope LEGO eventually re-releases those long minifigure legs in the future. They were, and still are, very useful for designing minifigures of taller fictional characters. If only they had come in plain colors without any printing on them.

Love how they are looking so far. I do think Bert should have had regular legs, and Ernie the mid legs. Really looking forward to this set, will likely be a day one purchase, depending on how my finances are at the time. Haven't looked this forward to a set for a while now, not since Steamboat Willy.

Cookie Monster looks really odd, and he definitely could've used some printing to represent his bigger belly. The white from the eyes going over the fur also doesn't help with this version, I hope that will be a little bit cleaner on other ones. The mouth being so straight also makes him look a little odd, he looks to clean. At least Elmo has the nose going on for him.

There's definitely a Big Bird and Count, and the back opens up of the building to show a bunch of rooms. May even be a Super Grover, hard to tell...

I Like the price! Of course they will have reduced the building a lot. I am hoping for a good facade that I can complete with my pieces. But I want big bird. I mean. I MUST be included.

Guys if you want to know which characters are going to be included look at the prototype in the first page of this thread.Sure Lego could cut some characters but I'm certain that classic characters like Oscar or Big Bird will be included.

At this point it’s really just Big Bird, Oscar, and Grover left of the “classic” main characters! I have a really hard time believing Lego would leave any of those out....
