Here's how the 10269 Harley Davidson could have looked with silver parts. I've also included the normal light gray coloured versions as well. This is a 3D model that I have modelled all parts using Modo (3D application). No imported parts. There is several months of work gone into this. I've got the real Harley Davidson model plus all of the Technic motorcycles ever made. Stickers were made by me using Affinity Designer (Vector drawing application).

You modeled all the parts!? Wow, fantastic job! You really nailed the materials of the bricks. I do like how you went with "Silver Ink" instead of a chrome silver. The silver material is also incredibly spot on! The motorcycle looks stunning with it.

Thanks. Yes, all parts modelled by me. I've been modelling Lego Motorcycles for a few years so have quite a collection of parts. For the Harley I had probably 75% of the parts already modelled.

I did a chrome version but didn't like it. A real Fat Boy motorcycle has satin chrome rather than shiny chrome so silver is a lot closer. Plus Lego does some silver parts whereas I think Chrome parts are done by 3rd parties.

Looks great! 'Smooth' and it have nice details. So like the drivebelt cover (right word?) it's really typical Harley. And the engine itself looks great too, the details and the rods to the valves.
