The rear wheels don't roll forward together , they are rolling in the opposite directions. I've tried double checking things from the manual but haven't found a solution yet 1. Do you mean the front wheels and the rear wheels roll in opposite directions? Then one of the differentials is installed the wrong way. 2. But if it's the same axle (if you rotate the right wheel forward and left wheel is rolling the opposite direction) then it's normal - that's how a differential works. Nonetheless if you take both rear wheels and rotate them together and the front wheels rotate the opposite direction - the differential gear is the wrong way. Refer to this picture by Jim from his review - Both differentials should have the gear on the same side. Edited September 3, 20213 yr by syclone

Thanks for replying. think I have checked that (not home right now) but i have recorded a video if it helps. (Sorry it's on tiktok) https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSJTMM2c3/ Â
September 3, 20213 yr Sorry, I can't go on tiktok, but if it's a youtube vid I should be able to watch it.

(Sorry it's on tiktok) https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSJTMM2c3/  m8.... that's a differential's normal function. The inner spur gears allow the wheels to have different speeds. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differential_(mechanical_device) However please check if you built your gearbox correctly - as it seems that is the issue from your video since the red central differential doesn't move.  Edited September 3, 20213 yr by syclone

September 4, 20213 yr Hi everyone, for those who would like to customize the rear of their Defender, here are : the .io file to reproduce rear bumper, hitch and exhaust pipes by @harrygee the corresponding bricklink .XML file inventory
November 13, 20213 yr Author It is now possible to get light bluish grey rims (49294) for 42110 Land Rover Defender! (they originally come in the new 75313 AT-AT).https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=49294&C=86#T=C&C=11 I might order five of these and see what they look like!
November 13, 20213 yr Really? I actually want them in grey as well. LR offers them in black or grey IRL too! Ordered 5 black new ones from Lego the other day. Couldn't you tell me earlier? Asked them if they could take it out of the order, when its still in warehouse. Currently selling my white and black/silver ones. Iam dreaming about those rims in LBG for some time. December 7, 20213 yr Wow, that's very distinctive! It's cool to see the white, the four-door conversion is interesting, and the rarer shocks are cool too. Also, I'm excited to finally see a car built with the wide motorcycle tires! I can't say this is the style of Defender I'd want in real life, though...

Thanks mate, let's just think of it as a performance road version of the model 27 minutes ago, Zerobricks said: Did you use only one rim to hold the tyre? How did you make room to fit those huge rare lego shock absorbers in? I had to offset the ball joint to the side to make room for the shocks which is a stud wider than the original design. Unfortunately, none of the car rims would fit because of that (probably 8448 wheels would but it doesn't look as good). Btw I believe there is enough room to fit diff locks to the front and rear axle if anyone wants to explore it further
December 8, 20213 yr Brillinat idea with the 77107 to hold the tyre. Unfortunately the old gearbox ring does not fit into the new differential.
