Finally did a real slope test. The default longitudinal tilt angle is 3 degrees (leaning forward) and the max tilt angle in a climb is 44 degrees (leaning backwards), so overall it can climb 47 degrees, which is about 107%. Not quite as fast as my previous buggy : https://youtu.be/ek-_36MBD9k Edited October 28, 2019 by Didumos69 Quote

You are not at the limit yet, just the limit of traction on that surface, do it again on a more grippy surface, when it tips over backwards, then you have found it. Quote
pleegwat Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 The up against the wall test has it tip at 72° Quote
kbalage Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I took the model out to have some fun and I'm still smiling Quote
Didumos69 Posted October 29, 2019 Author Posted October 29, 2019 Awesome video! Thank you very much @kbalage! We watched it with the whole family and my kids now want to go on vacation to Hungary ! Quote
kbalage Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 @Didumos69 you're very welcome, thank you for the great design! I was very lucky with the weather, we had the last warm days of autumn and the Danube's water level was low enough to approach this area, otherwise it's usually under water. Let me know if you decide to come here and I'll show you some other great spots to explore (with LEGO RC cars of course )! Quote
rekreK Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 @kbalage when you locked the diffs, the steering was not very good? Quote
