March 27, 20222 yr Personally, I have always used Stud.io, so I am not really concerned by the migration to 64-bit only. However, out of curiosity, I have tried to run LDD on Crossover (which is a user-friendly frontend of Wine) a few months ago, and it was working well. It is a bit less easy to do than Parallels/VMware but at least it does not require a Windows license.
March 28, 20222 yr I used MLCad back in the day and never did much with LDD due to its limited parts selection. I like Studio a lot and have switched to that for any Lego cad modeling. The performance seems fine to me, I use it on an i7 surface pro 7 and a gaming PC.
