Toitoine Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Same draining of battery on my MBP 2020... it’s for me the first default of studio.LDD was smooth and better user friendly. Quote

Celeri Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Personally, I have always used Stud.io, so I am not really concerned by the migration to 64-bit only. However, out of curiosity, I have tried to run LDD on Crossover (which is a user-friendly frontend of Wine) a few months ago, and it was working well. It is a bit less easy to do than Parallels/VMware but at least it does not require a Windows license. Quote
CP5670 Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 I used MLCad back in the day and never did much with LDD due to its limited parts selection. I like Studio a lot and have switched to that for any Lego cad modeling. The performance seems fine to me, I use it on an i7 surface pro 7 and a gaming PC. Quote
