May 5, 200816 yr Not going to be very secret if they're driving around in a truck that is thirty feet tall. Not going to get very far either, if they have to go under a bridge...Steve I can only imagine its gas milage!
May 6, 200816 yr The things that are lurking me to the Agents are there-introducement of the sharks and all the silver! I wouldn't say re-introduction, as these are new shark moulds. But you're right in that we're getting sharks back! I actually like these sets, mainly because of the new pieces really. I'll be getting that Jet-pack set for the robot arm, and maybe the Swamp set for that new helmet, the crocs, and those sweet new barbed wire loops. ~Peace
May 6, 200816 yr Looking good... Most of the sets are really nice moc material, much more so then the Alpha Team ever was. The sharks are wonderful, kind of a need species living among the old ones (which, mind you, come back with the CG sets). I especially like the Mission 1 fighter jet, to which I have already started to plan some modification to meet my town's air defence needs... Can anyone tell me what part is used as the jet exhaust/afterburner? Is it the new 2-wide set seen in 2230 (which would be nice) or is it the barrel (as it seems)? And is it true there no undercarriage? Or do I have to wait until autumn to find out ... And I think a truck of that size must have it's own on board-mini-fusion reactor Edited May 6, 200816 yr by L'Exocet

May 6, 200816 yr I normally don't quote my own posts, but a discussion elsewhere has convinced me that I was too harsh in my comments. I really don't like the look and the agents theme doesn't do much for me. However, that's probably because I mainly build jets and trucks myself, which means that I am particularly hard to please. So, that's more a reflection of my personal bias than that there's anything wrong with these. The set designers work for a specific audience and obviously within constraints on budget and buildability (I know that's not a real word, but you know what I mean) that simply don't apply to MOCs. These sets obviously aren't aimed at me, but at boys between 7 and 12 and I am pretty sure that if LEGO would have released anything like these back when I was a child, I would have thought they were the best thing since sliced bread. Cheers, Ralph Agreed 100%. I really think that Ralph_S hit it on thenose hear. I think many people are looking at these sets at more of an Adult level and lets be honest, there just not aimed at adults. Younger kids are going to go nuts over these. I've heard alot ofpeople complain about the size of the big rig. While it may not be to scale, or able to fit in most peoples towns or cities, there absolutly no denying the playability of that thing. Man, i know for a fact if i was a 10 year old kid, i would be staring atmy lego catalog everyday till the day i was able to get it. And thatswhat you need to think about when you see sets like these. I for one like the truck. Defenate buy for me!
May 7, 200816 yr As with the other posters, I like the use of colours etc but what is going on with that little 4x4 and trailer!? When I first saw it it I thought the tiny wheels were just 'place holders' for larger ones in the preliminary pictures but it seems they've found their way in to the production model. Does it look weird in real life, Dr S?

Does it look weird in real life, Dr S? Yeah, kind of weird...but not a deal breaker IMO. In all honesty, the sheer monstrous size of the truck took up most of my attention. Dr. S. May 10, 200816 yr I'm predicting Agents to be yet another one-and-done theme (see also: Dino Attack, Aquaraiders, Vikings, etc.). Aside from the wonderfully bizarre mini-figs, I don't see much here that interests me. How can you say such a thing?? Look at the detail on the front of that truck! I would've never done thought of doing something like that in my MOCs!!! And look at Dr. Inferno!! (If you have no clue who he is, look at my avvy) He has the most kick-megablocks hair mold I've seen in ages!
