[Q12 - Nixor - TT] Stormtroopers Relaxation

We were waiting on Nixor, a group of troopers fresh out of training eager to join a unit and see the galaxy, but for now we were enjoying some time off. The Underworld here may have had a somewhat shady reputation, but for a bunch of new recruits, it was a cheap enough part of town to be attractive.

The eight of us crowded round the table eager to see who would win our game. We were a group of nine but TK-4072 didn't join in, always the try-hard, he waited patiently for us around the corner.

Then, out of the blue, some barabel - a nasty character by all counts - came and snatched one of our helmets. He made the mistake of stealing the one that belonged to 'Clash' - all I will say is it didn't end well for him. It was certainly an eventful start to serving the Triumvirate.

The middle level has a store room interior but I am really pushed for time with uploading photos so it isn't featured here. I would ordinarily have tiled the floors on the interiors but I have just run out of time :(  Maybe next time!

 

This is my first build here, I was inspired to join by your brick built aliens entries and loved all of them. Sadly, I was too late to submit a build for it but I have got to used my Barabel and Miraluka here (see picture 3 for the latter). I have been heavily inspired by @Darth Bjorn's cyberpunk-esque style for buildings so here is this build. I can't promise to be a regular (I primarily build for the Great Brick War) but am glad to be part of this community now. I would LOVE your feedback: anything you like, want to see in future builds or think I can improve - please let me know!

Glad to having you building for Factions! I like your build. It looks very cluttered, which fits your cyberpunk style. I think the whole thing would improve with some tiles though. If you tiles all the exposed levels on the building and left the dark tan ground with studs exposed it would help create a cleaner contrast while still leaving the cluttered look.

I have put some tiles on now and agree it looks so much better. I was rushing to try and get at least something uploaded yesterday, but now that I have had the chance to refine it, I think that it looks so much better - Thanks for the advice!

Thanks, the small details were really the focus with this build and I am very happy with how they turned out, Glad that you liked them!

Nice first entry - that's very promising... I also think you could benefit from trying to tilt your structure for a more interesting look. E.g. having level 2 on the side and level 1 and 3 as you have them here...

@marvelBoy123 The little barrel on the floor looks like a really interesting gizmo. Can you show us how it's built?

Yes (illegally) I will put a photo on later! Also I found a printed tile with a triumvirate style logo that would be the right colour to add it in another build.

I was thinking of moving the directions of the floors around, I just ran out of time this time!
