Globemaster Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 hey guys, heres a star trek MOC runabout i built a looonnngg time ago. Did a search for star trek stuff and nothing much really came up so thought i put this up here: P.S...this was made before I knew you could print custom decals so everything was drawn by hand...therefore, the quality isn't the greatest enjoy! KDog Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Awesome, that's gotta be huge. I admire a set that has a lot of play value, especially in the interior of a ship. How long is this ship? Quote
Asuka Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Now that´s an interesting ship with a fine and very playable interior and a really adorable crew, well done! Quote
Holodoc Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Hey where´s the sickbay! I like the interior, but the hull - well, I don´t know. It looks a bit too blocky for my taste. A few (curved) slopes would have helped. Great job with the stickers and the crew. Excellent hand paint job. I still can´t figure what series you built. This is not TNG (female captain) and not VOY (wrong uniforms). LCARS ON! EDIT: Maybe I should add: This is how I normally look like (when there is no castle month): Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 I love this...it's great. Imperfections aside, I want one, because I know I'd spend hours landing on alien worlds and exploring, then taking off again and warping to the next destination, giving the crew their dinner on the way, working out shift patterns, wandering from the conference room at the rear up to the "bridge" to see what's what, evading enemy starships and generally breaking the Prime Directive whenever the hell it suited me or the plot. Globemaster Posted May 5, 2008 Author Posted May 5, 2008 (edited) thanks for the reply guys, I might upgrade it with some curved slopes and maybe widen it after i finish my pirate ship project (if i have any pieces left over that is ) the ship is about 40 something cm long and the era...well, i'd have to say its from DS9 when they were swaping from the TNG uniforms to VOY uniforms (around the same time frame of the Star Trek: Generations movie where you can see the crew wearing both styles of uniforms) I don't THINK theres a sickbay on the runabout but i'll check my star trek DS9 technical manual again haha Edited May 5, 2008 by Globemaster Quote
