Here is my custom modular Fishmonger! The first floor features a fish market where patrons can browse a collection of fresh catches. The second floor features a ship captain's office, maybe for a fishing boat or some other ocean-related business.

Here it is alongside my Brown Bookstore MOC as well for a shot of my two buildings.

Very cool! I like how simple and unassuming it is, see shops like this all the time on real streets

I do think you should turn the brightness up in your renders though, the interiors in particular are a bit dingy

Thank you! I was thinking a fish market would not be super extravagant so I went for a simple, realistic approach.

Thank you for the suggest, I will try and clean up the renders a bit. New to Studio.

I like also the simple (?) way you build this en would love to add this in my collection. If you don't mind i would like to try to copy this. I like the yellow fish on the front of the building. Great work there Itsasecret581

Charming little build!

I do think however, that the build would have better proportions and look better with an additional floor. Same applies for the book store. :)

The building looks good and I especially like the design for the sign. I think your bookstore looks better than the recently revealed modular set!

Thank you! It's certainly a different take than the revealed set.

I went back and forth on adding additional floors, I'll play around with it some more.

Indeed it is!  Not that I don't like the new LEGO modular, but they should have gone with something like a full library, which your bookstore would be suitable for with a revised entrance. I digress..

The fishmonger is marvelous... maybe(?) too clean on the ground floor/entrance decor.  Probably a render limitation.  Anyway, I would love to build this, moving those 4 inside crates outside and swap in some crab/lobster, to just "dirty it up" :)

Kudos!

Crab and lobster would be a good addition to the bottom floor along with moving the crates outside. I'll play around with that! Thanks for the suggestion.
