Sqr Ldr Farantros narrative:

Nixor was a dump of a planet, but strategically important to our leadership and I was nobody to question that. I'd only just arrived and already there was action... some pirates who we had driven out of Nanth'ri had taken a stand in one of the spaceports storage rooms. Grabbing my blaster and dragging a couple of stormtroopers with me I headed to the scene of the action. Needless to say it was a quick battle, their defence was meager and their weaponry outdated not to mention the fact that they were already drunk - I showed no mercy for that is how things should be.

We had recently acquired the spaceport and were quickly modernising it I was told, the main immigration room was getting a fresh lick of paint and the rennovations looked promising but I could tell that the staff would be a nightmare. The stormtrooper at the desk was playing space invaders on the ancient computer in front of him and I had to shout at him to get on with checking visitors in. http://49210272717_b2a86bee48_b.jpgNixor : Spaceports and Landspeeders [3] by marvelBoy123, on Flickr

Finally, once everything was running smoothly, I could get away from the spaceport complex and into the local town. I had joined the Triumvirate with the hope of rising up the ranks and this might be my chance: a Rodian smuggler named Teeko who held influence on many nearby planets including Rishi which rumour said was of strategic importance. We met at one of his bars and he arrived in a vintage EY-7 landspeeder. It had been in his family for generations and it was said that he was a connoisseur of landspeeders both old and new. As soon as I found that out, I rushed to pick up the latest issue of 'What Speeder?' as a gift. The meeting went well and after some casual conversation we got to business. We struck a very good deal: we bought supplies from him in Nixor and in return he would help us expand our influence on the planet. I left feeling pleased - a couple more jobs like this and I might get a promotion!

The Landspeeder on its own:

This has been another fun series of builds and I have tried to push myself out of my comfort zone, experimenting with new techniques. I am really happy with how the builds have gone especially the first one. I would love any feedback that you have both positive or constructive!

Are you able to make the images display as images rather than links?

It's a neat series of builds. Really liking your style. What's the deal with the decorative elements in the last scene? Are they customs?

They should be images via the BBC code, if you are talking about the small blue link behind the pics whenever I try changing the name of that text the links do not work. Yes the parts are custom, made by the amazing firestartoys, a uk based company with all sorts of quirky star wars designs including star wars cereal boxes and a boba fett surfboard. Really would recommend checking them out!

Cool depiction of a Devaronian - and good timing with the previous episode of the Mandalorian. ;) I really like the many details you've gotten into these builds... Especially the Figrin D'an poster! Also the speeder has a very interesting hot-rod look to it... Good job!

Thanks, glad you like it! I haven't seen the mandalorian but I had heard that there was a devaronian in it, I built the figure a while back because I really like all the alien species and this seemed the perfect part combination. The Figrin D'an poster is perhaps my favourite custom part that I have although I do like the dark side cookies cereal box - you will see this at some point later

The more I look at that Stormtrooper on the computer, the more I love it. You can almost see the scowl in the helmet. "Why are you bothering me?" It's brilliant. And the old-school monitor and screen really set it off nicely.

I like your speeder, very vintage indeed. And while I'm not a personal fan of custom printed elements, you've used them very well in your builds.
