Sneakguest Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Wow, this must be the best Jurassic wave so far, without a doubt, generally don't buy JP sets but, maybe this time I make an exception
Thieda Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) Go to brickfever website to see new pictures of the sets including back of box. Edited April 28, 2020 by Thieda

There are pictures of box (both sides) and out of box pictures.

Arutha Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 The boxes art are nice. I like the Gallimimus set a bit more now. Nice to find an amber piece also in this set. Is the baby raptor Delta ? I can't see properly.

brickonski Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Are the eggs in the lab section put on new pieces or are these 2x2 round tiles with stud/hole, decorated with a sticker to give it a nest look?

I think they might be the new-ish leaf pieces in brown but it's hard to tell
lego_guyon02 Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Idk if this should or shouldn't go in this thread but I'll post it anyway: Irrfhan Khan, the actor who portrayed Simon Masrani in Jurassic World, has passed away today RIP
icm Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 Does the vehicle in the Gallimimus pursuit set 75940 remind anyone else of the 6927 All Terrain Vehicle from Classic Space?

icm Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 Well, that too. Sort of looks like they took the shape of the app-controlled Batmobile and stuffed in a mobile lab instead of motors, battery box, receiver. It's just that it's this big all-terrain vehicle with sci-fi styling that carries a mobile lab. The details are different.
lego_guyon02 Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 The fact they messed up Zach and Gray's names on the box is hilarious
Tom Jurassic Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 It's nice to see new leg print on the ACU trooper. Didn't think they'd commit to something like that for a single set.

At least for now, unitl I see more and better pics. In my eyes dino-catching vehicles are always better than weird half finished pieces of park equipment, or scenery( Bad examples for this is the Triceratops set). Edited May 10, 2020 by mon-o-mat

And in that wave only one set is really connected to JW. The Lab is very generic, the Vehicle and the plane have nothing to do with the movies at all. At least on an original theme the prices wouldn't be additionally inflated by licenses

Foil bags are small ''gifts'' included with LEGO magazines (in this case the Jurassic World version). Afaik they're only sold in Europe but they're not that special as they mostly use common parts and nothing besides the bags themselves is exclusive

Yup, you get a point. Thanks for explanation!
Lion King Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Ok, here is a piece of my mind on this wave. I have to say....WOW! I really like these sets, despicably the lab with babies Ankylosaurus and Triceratops And the gyro sphere house with adult Ankylosaurus and I.rex, and even GalimimusI I really like the colors on all dinosaurs (including Delta and pteranodon). I am too excited to hasve my hands on these new lego dinosaurs! i never bought Jurassic World sets before but instead, I bought dinosaurs individually (not the whole sets). So I could collect and build my dinosaur army to terrorize my city, lol.

It's coming every 2 months in Europe, but the only figures/dinos we get there are Owen and baby Raptors.
