A build being fun doesn't mean that it sold 'extremely well', if anything the Jurassic D2C is the reason we'll never get another one. That thing flopped harder than a fish on dry land
THELEGOBATMAN Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Unless someone proves otherwise, it's safe to assume those sets are based on Dominion.

Maybe not every single one them, but the majority has to be based on Dominion since the tie-in sets have to be released in 1HY (my guess would be late April or early May), based on the film’s current release date. Of course the film may get delayed, but then so will the sets
AxolotlPlays Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Awesome!!! I hope one of the $50 (American I am assuming) has a Stegosaurus!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for set images or leaks (or both haha!!!), even though it will probably take like 3-4 months into next year oof

I hope that first set is based on one of the Jurassic Park movies (for example a Spinosaurus set), while the rest of them are based on Dominion.

If it's a JP Trilogy set I definetely hope it's a JPIII Spino set, 2021 is the films 20th anniversary after all

I sure hope it’s based on JPIII with Spinosarurus. That dino is a big star of the movie (sorry, Pteranodons). 4 hours ago, AxolotlPlays said: Awesome!!! It’s interesting that there will be more than 4 sets next year. I doubt we will get Apatosaurus or Brachisaurus in one of these sets between $80 - $120.

Movie waves always have more sets so it's not really that suprising

I never bought any sets that were based on Jurassic Park or World because I missed the opportunity. I-Rex vs Ankylosaurus is my first set that based on JW movie. But more than 4 sets are good than sorry. I am happy to hear. It’s better than buying very few sets per a wave.

AxolotlPlays Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 You guys think maybe one of the 2021 sets is 'Owens Cabin', the one he was building in Fallen Kingdom? It could come with Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Maisie Lockwood and Blue. Maybe the $40 one?

The other part of me thinks that it would make my having already installed those four in a house in my city a little bit redundant. (Pet dinosaurs aren’t illegal. :P)

But I (and probably everyone else) would prefer original trilogy sets for the 'non-dominion-spots' (haha) 2 hours ago, Fenghuang0296 said: Part of me really wants that to happen. But I (and probably everyone else) would prefer original trilogy sets for the 'non-dominion-spots' (haha) There are really only 2 sets I can see happening for CC, one of which is largely in the trailers and the other is going a bit into spoiler territory: 1. Camp Cretaceous Rescue Truck: - Build: the red/gray camp truck and a Gyrosphere - Figures: Dave, Roxie, Kenji and Ben - Dinosaurs: Sinoceratops and Bumpy (even if her inclusion doesn't make much sense here) Spoiler 2. Monorail Escape: - Build: monorail, a bit of the track and a downscaled version of the Mosasaurus Arena's Monorail station - Figures: Darius, Yaz, Brooklynn and Sammy - Dinosaurs: Toro and a Pteranodon The main camp itself could technically also be a set but not much really happens there
