Just a new angle, we've seen that figure weeks ago

It looks great.

The gun isn't new though so we don't know if it actually comes in the sets

Yeah I just found out it's from the old Dino theme. It still would be cool to get it here tho.

Just want to point out how the Mosasaurus being in that book does not mean it'll be in a set, take that in mind

I still think that the best way to release it would be in Dominion sets, it's definitely gonna have a role in that one. No genetic hybrids in that movie so the biggest set can definitely include a dinosaur like Mosasaurus.

I agree. Just posted that to prevent something like that completely derailed and fairly heated discussion in the Harry Potter thread from happening here.

Univeral has now officially signed a deal with LEGO which gives them the exclusive rights to produce LEGO movies for the next 5 years. Fingers crossed they will make a Jurassic World movie!

That would be an interesting thing to see.

As for the mosasaurus, I am not really looking forward to see it in a Lego set (although I really like it in the movies). I would prefer a new herbivore like a stegosaurus or a brachiosaurus even if there is only a little chance for them.

Given we're getting an Ankylosaurus I'd say the Stegosaurus could happen in the future. While the Brachiosaurus might not be able to be in a set in an accurate scale I personally think it would be really cool to get a downscaled version with legs similar in size or slighty smaller than the T-Rex.

I agree with you. Even a stegosaurus would need a little scale down in my opinion (if they are based off the video game of course).

I am really excited by this new wave. The babies are really nice. I hope gallimimus is made from the video game model and not the terrible model of coelophysis.

LEGO making Jurassic Park/World movie(s) could potentially open up the possibility of them having more creative freedom with what dinosaurs they make since they could just include new stuff in the movie just to have an excuse for them being made into a set. Would be a great way to get some new molds.

Just making sets based on the original trilogy also gives us new molds. I really don't understand why LEGO doesn't capitalise on it. I mean, TLW has tons of vehicles AND dinosaurs and LEGO sure loves their vehicles

True, but at this point I’m just assuming we wont get anything based of anything other than JW content with the occasional JP 1 set since I feel like if they were willing/able to do more Jurassic Park sets they would have by now. We have a better chance of getting something like the Spinosaurus if it was to appear in a LEGO JW movie than a set based off of Jurassic Park III.

Spinosuarus is one of the most wanted dinosaurs to appear in Dominion, and if they include him in the movie, we'll definitely get a set with him.

Nice to have a confirmation that Indominus set is based on OG Jurassic World, and not just loosely based on it.

The descriptions sound cool, but they are kind of weird, classic retailer ones. I hope we see sets soon.

The Raptor set mentions a baby Delta next to the adult Velociraptor but none of the other sets mention any of the other babies. If any raptor was going to be thrown into a set I thought it would be Blue so maybe the other babies from last year will appear in other sets or a promo or something?

Choosing a different member of the Raptor Squad actually makes a lot of sense, they've kinda overdone Blue at this point

These descriptions are exciting. It's cool we have baby Delta instead of Blue. The mention of trees in the biggest set is really cool. I am looking forward to buy these sets.
