I haven't look too closely, but I'd think not too many newly recolored parts? The only stuff that stood out to me as new or new-ish was the pink elements of the BotW Deku Tree but none of those get used in the OoT version.

Received my Great Deku Tree yesterday, still in disbelief we're getting Lego Breath of the Wild! Probably won't build it for a few months but definitely one of my favourite sets of the year going by reviews and photos. I'd love to see coverage of Tears of the Kingdom in the future.

It`s horrendously overpriced so that I see no chance of getting this, despite the fact that I wait for more than 20 years for a Lego/LoZ Set.

I want this, but even for 200€, this feels bad.

Has anyone figured out what parts you need to order if you want to build the other model of the Deku Tree without buying a full second set? I'm mostly just curious how much it'll cost, regardless though it seems a lot smarter than buying two of the set unless you want to resell the minifigs and/or want the extra parts.

I'd imagine if there was anything like that coming, it'd have been announced now - since it seems you can already pre-order the game.

I'm actually annoyed it's not going to be on PS4, especially since both of the mainline games were. I can afford to buy the game itself, but I can't afford to buy a console for it!!

Completely agree. If it can run on switch it can run on ps4. But they annoyingly made the dlc ps5 exclusive.

I haven't seen anything yet, but we also don't really have a good frame of reference for when to even expect Lego LoZ leaks imo since the Deku Tree leaked so far ahead of when we typically get leaks. That said, I feel like we're almost guaranteed to get something just based on the comment from Aonuma about the Deku Tree being the "first" Zelda set.

Unfortunately I have finite amount of money, so though I do plan to get the Deku tree it won't be till after Christmas at the earliest.

I certainly hope we get more Zelda stuff... And the wording from Aonuma makes me think that the chances are there. In either case, the Deku tree isn't set to retire until the end of 2026 right now, so there's time to mull it over.

It‘s almost guaranteed, I‘d say, for multiple reasons:

• If all they ever planned was one single set, why the Deku Tree of all things?
• I doubt they introduced so many new pieces for one set alone.
• It has a regular set number, indicating it‘s not a one-off like a lot of Icons sets, but its own theme already!

100% agreed, not to mention that it has a separate theme page on the Lego website. I think at very least it was planned, and if I remember right there was some indication on Lego's website that it was selling pretty well at least initially (I think it temporarily sold out at one point?).

• Because he's an iconic part of the two most popular games in the franchise.
• Now this I agree with--the best way to amortize the design and production costs of those new molds and prints would be to re-use them (at least some of them) in more sets.

As much as I want more LEGO Zelda, I do hope it doesn't only take the form of huge expensive display sets. A variety of price points would do more to help them determine how much demand for the theme there really is. I know a lot of people who were really looking forward to the Deku Tree but balked at the price tag.

We've got our first teases for new Horizon sets!!! 

Near the end of the video (around the 9 minute mark) there are some very brief shots at a physical Aloy figure, a Sawtooth and a Shell-Walker. I went back to compare and aside from the hairpiece Aloy is actually completely different (head is way different, torso/legs/arms are all slightly altered and she has that INSANE new bow mold) and if you compare the brief look at the physical Shell-Walker with the in-game Shell-Walker shown earlier in the video you'll notice the design of the physical one is a lot less finicky and more durable. Incredible stuff.

Ooh... Nice catch! Aloy's body and hair look the same to me comparing it with the image on Bricklink, though - the face is definitely new. I also don't think that this is simply IRL design mock-ups, though - there's Lego copyright info on the arrow on Aloy's bow, which I doubt would be included if this was just a small batch/3D printed stand-in for reference. Nice to see!

The hairpiece is the same, the body isn't. The piece of metal on her wrist is completely different and the folds of her skirt are different which makes the torso, hips and legs all slightly different. It's not much but it's not the same, no clue why they didn't just reuse the existing prints.

Actually it is kind of funny that the Fan Designer, that worked on the Dungeons and Dragons Set is working there.

So far we have no info about any Sets, aside that there is something coming. Wondering, since the game will be released this month, that there is no more info yet towards the set(s), since you would think it would release early next year then

It's strange but not unprecedented after LEGO took almost a year to release LEGO Fortnite sets after launching the game. Hopefully it won't be too long and we're looking at march/april for the Horizon set(s), any earlier feels too optimistic.

This is incredible news. The Tallneck is probably still my favourite set of all time, so I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on more Horizon sets. I am going so broke next year, it's insane how perfectly catered to my interests it feels.

I'd argue it's more like the chance of finding (VENOM) horse in your burger king burger after Burger King swore they'd stop doing that. They had a period of time where they didn't do that but it could always happen (again in the case of BK secret horse burgers).

77037 Aloy and Varl vs. Shell-Walker and Sawtooth. Retails for 45€, with 768 pieces.

Coming March 2025.
