Yeah, and since they’ve already been collaborating with Nintendo on the Super Mario theme for almost two years (time flies by), this wouldn’t be much of a stretch. They have to be aware of the demand for Zelda sets in particular, just look at the sheer amount of Ideas projects that reached 10k votes!

I am not that big of a Zelda fan but I am excited for the fantasy theme potential it has. Though I wonder if Lego didn't do sets yet because they don't know how many sets they could make with it. A Lego set still needs to have play value so I wonder if they are still figuring out how to make the theme work. Like with Mario, I understand why they choose the starter course thing, they can do all the bad guys that way and the sets are more game accurate.

This set just sounds to good to be true... 1222 pieces for 80€? That's a fantastic deal.

If we get a detailed Aloy minifigure this will become my favourite LEGO set ever.

Checking out the game, it has a lot of cool potential minifigs, with all those tribes. I want a Thunderjaw set.

This game has so much potential for LEGO sets, there are so many beasts in HDZ that it would cover years of this theme.

There sure are a lot of very interesting designs but the amount of characters I can actually see LEGO make is probably limited to Aloy, Erend, Sylens, Talanah, Helis and maybe Rost.

For this Tallneck set I'm just expecting Aloy.

Indeed. But this license truly opens the possibilities for licenses under this theme. Though I guess Dark Souls will never happen, I would love Lego Monster Hunter.

Also thinking about HZD, Lego LOVES mechs and robots so it's a win for them.

Each beast can come with 1 minifig or 2. I want the villains so bad.

Anyway, post your predictions for other licenses!

Here are mine:

-Warcraft (because Blizzard and this is the perfect opportunity for them to do it)

-Ratchet and Clank

-Uncharted (there is a movie coming soon)

I just want to know what licenses are part of this.

I hope they use this theme to also give us sets for video games based on other themes, like Marvel and Star Wars.

Marvel's Spider-Man and Fallen Order would be amazing.

As for other video games, I'd love Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank sets.

I'd also die for The Witcher sets, but they won't make ones based on 18+ video games.

You know, with the introduction of the 18+ adult sets, I would think Lego would touch more mature licenses for collectors, perhaps it's still too soon but I think we are getting closer.

Also, I wish they would make the Marvel Imnsoniac Spiderman sets and Fallen Order sets under their themes because I don't want those to take space from this one which can be more experimental. Lego has no excuse not to make Imsoniac Spider-Man sets, only if it is because of some licensing issues with Sony.

I was surprised they've never done sets for Fallen Order. Marvel's Spider-Man is because LEGO doesn't make sets for Sony's productions ('except for Disney merge Spider-Man), but they've made sets for both Battlefront video games.

Now that they are making sets for Sony's video games, they don't have an excuse anymore not to make those sets.

Well, if the leak about Raimi Spiderman sets is true, then oh boy. We are in for a ride. And maybe they touch Spiderverse too.

Oh boy, if they do sets for Into The Spider-Verse (or Across), I don't know what I'm gonna do.

My favourite movie of all time, that would be the best feeling ever.

They have a lot of machines that's for sure.

Having a lot of machines doesn't mean much though. The only ones I can actually see LEGO do (besides the Tallneck) are the Thunderjaw, Watcher, Sawtooth and Corruptor. But I'd be very surprised if we get more than just this one set for Horizon.

And as for the image itself, there are way more machines than just that

It all depends on how this set will sell (though we might have other HZD sets this year, we don't know yet).

That's actually not even a half of machines that appear in Horizon Zero Dawn.

If it sells well they might make more sets, perhaps from Forbidden West.

Has there been any info released about more Overwatch sets besides the big Titan mech? If I recall correctly, there was an Orisa & Efi set and a set with Lucio planned alongside the Titan mech. I really hope those are coming as well, I want as many OW heroes as minifigs as we can get. There's like 30 heroes in the game, Lego has barely scratched the surface when it comes to the hero minifigs.

Since HZD is getting a sequel this year and it gets this set, maybe we do get Zelda because Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is also releasing in 2022.

In all honestly, I could see LEGO including a small watcher in the Tallneck set. It wouldn't require that many pieces, and it would provide a small adversary for (likely only) Aloy in the set.

That would be nice.

Do you think it could possible to see destiny sets under the video game line? I know mega construx made sets awhile ago but I’m not sure if they still have the license.

Perhaps the MCX license expired. I could seebit happen under Lego, I don't think it's a game Lego wouldn't do, like Halo, they can do that too. Of course the one I'd want would be Dark Souls but that ain't gonna happen.

Do we know if Overwatch sold well during 2019? I am still surprised we are getting these sets, even tho I'm happy we do because I didn't get the first batch.

It looked like the third wave was cancelled, so the consensus was that the theme sold poorly, and yet here we are with at least one of the sets still coming out, same set number and all… :classic: Maybe it sold better than we gave it credit for

Yeah, I don't think Lego would bring it back for just being nice to the fans od something, they cancel things pretty fast if they didn't sell. I guess this has more to do with the second game release which is now more closer to release, early 2023 most likely.
