Are we even sure the sets release in June and not August? It’s kinda strange we haven’t even seen a single leak yet.

Or My desperation for the reveals is driving me insane thinking the sets release in August.

Yes we are

1. Definitely not. Closest idea would be if it was based off the epilogue scene, which I highly doubt they'd make as it'd just be at platform 9 and 3/4 so the only new thing would be the figs. Or if they ever make a film of the play (which I am strongly opposed to as Cursed Child is not Canon).

2. Nope sorry, the only game I can think Lego based sets off were Overwatch and Minecraft. Also Hogwarts Mystery is an awful game IMO.

3. I do like that idea. I could imagine something like that. Maybe akin to the Lego Xtra's, have for example 4 pairs of wands, a few cauldrons, Broomsticks, crystal balls etc.

They could do the epilogue characters in a CMF series. But I hope to god they never ever make sets based on the atrocity that is Cursed Child

Battlefront, Battlefront II, Knights of the Old Republic, Marvel's Spider-Man, Marvel's Avengers, Portal

Dewit

Maybe if we all walk bare foot on a pile of Lego pieces the gods will hear us

Is anybody hurting for wands?!? I’ve got about 4,000 of the damn things.

I would be interested in seeing them do one of the figure packs like they’ve done for Ninjago, Etc. But it would be tough to do anything other than “random death-eaters” or “random HW students”.

Funny story actually: when I was a kid, I had a bunk bed and one time had a giant pile of Lego pieces right at the foot of my ladder to the bed, and as I was climbing up to get into bed in my underwear I fell off into the giant pile of Lego. Fun story for the day

I actually subjected myself to laying down on lego bricks at a LEGOLAND Discovery Center several years ago. Mostly for the photo op though, it looked like I was in bliss but my back was screaming

Definitely not, but we are all becoming desperate in those hard times.

Sonic, Mario, Minecraft Dungeons and (if you count it) Lego City Undercover.

I could definitely see a set based off the video game being a thing eventually. I believe it's going to be based on the 14th Century Goblin Rebellion but that's just a guess.

Also glad I'm not the only one in favour of keeping CC as far from canon as possible

Well we all know what TLM2 says about the pain you feel when stepping on a LEGO brick right? ''Close to childbirth''

I knew there were more, just couldn't remember them. Thanks!

No matter how much people dislike it it is still canon. Should have never been released as a badly written book, cash grab that it was but the play is actually very good and I'd recommend it to anyone. I think the last scene in the original books where we flash forward is worse and i usually turn off the movie before it comes on.

Only mentioning all this as there are no leaks today so I have no set pictures to digest with my greedy eyes.

I just envisioned that in my head like when gollum fell into the lava ?

I don't understand how nothing about HP has leaked yet, we've had the figures but not even a blurry pic of a set e.e

The figures and parts have likely been stolen from the factories. It is easier to abstract small things like minifigures or even the centaurs than taking away whole sets without anyone noticing

The only way I could explain the lack of images leaking is that all shops and media pages are imposed a strict embargo (especially for the HP line) and the ones offending against get kicked out of the network.

...which is why you now have more cybernetics than Darth Vader

That’s almost exactly how it happened

I don’t see it as canon at all. If they make a movie with the original actors and give it a reasonable linear plot (that should never have been written for a play), then sure

I doubt they'll release the setpictures after the sets themselves are out so a couple of weeks max is accurate :laugh_hard:

I thought the first sets release 1st June? That's means there's 5 weeks until release.

In my head there was some master criminals sneaking into the Lego factory in the dead of night ready to steal some UCS Star Destroyers to sell for big bucks, and then seeing a machine of Harry Potter minifigs and sparkly blue otters and saying "screw Star Wars, let's steal a single Bellatrix Lestrange and post blurry photos of it on legoleaks".

Then realised it's gonna just be people working in the factory already isn't it.

Disappointed there's no minifig heists.

Everyone, chill down please.

There are way too many reports coming out from this thread. General rudeness, fake rumors, pointless clock counting happening...

If we can't be civil or show a semblance of patience, then I may just have to close this thread for a bit so everyone can calm down.

Play nice or don't play at all.

Thanks!

Honestly that’s pretty surprising. Aside from the fake rumors, I really didn’t think there was anything on here worth reporting. Seemed pretty civil for the most part. Makes me wonder if someone is trolling with the report button... as far as patience goes, this is killing us, but we’ll do our best for the greater good!

Although it's probably the second case, I really like the imagination of the first one :roflmao:

That surprises me as well but it's good to know.

x3

Didn't think anyone had been too bad but maybe Gollum falling on a pile of Lego bricks was a bit graphic.

On topic, if there was a singular part of a set you were most curious to see how they've handled it, what would it be? Not necessarily the most interested in but the hardest to visualise maybe. I think I'm really curious how Grawp will look because of the description we've had and the size of the set.
