Has anyone noticed that the Preorder for Hedwig on Barnes and Noble's website is listed as September 1st? That conflicts with the August date for Target.

Since the Burrow is a Target exclusive, it is possible that they'll release that set on August 15 (since, as a retail exclusive, LEGO would have made less copies of the set and it would therefore have been easier to produce the needed amount), and put out the rest of the sets on September 1 with B&N (or later, but I sure hope not).

Possibilities:

C) the USA is slowly descending into Hell and the employees running both companies websites are punching in random numbers with the grim assurance that none of us will be around to call them out by the time that date arrives. (I’m joking... mostly)

Can’t argue with this.  But it’s a great (read: poor) excuse to impulsively spend money on LEGO while we still can!  :cry_sad:

Now that the Grand Piano has been revealed, DA should be next on the list, unless TLG shadow-drops another set first

Edit: Ninja’d

Interestingly, even Ideas sets share the same style of boxart with their 18+ selection :classic: It fits perfectly fine here, but I still hope DA will be 16+ instead and get the regular set boxart treatment :shrug_oh_well:

I really hope they don't use this box art for DA. I know we've all discussed it before, but your comment just reminded me that it is a possibility. :distressed:

Same here but I don't really think about it much, what I do constantly worry about is DA's price

You mean the Dutch price? Assume the worst and be glad when you’re wrong... or cry when you’re right  Is it at least somewhat consistent within themes? If so, 71043 should be a pretty good indicator

It's the least inconsistent thing I've ever seen and it annoys the hell out of me. It doesn't matter what theme a set comes from, how many pieces it has or things like that, some sets have an increased price and other's don't. It's almost as if they just flip a coin  But yeah, I'm fully anticipating a 450 euro pricetag. If it's 400 like it should be I'm 99% sure it'll be a day-one purchase for me but there's no way I can justify doing the same for 450. Aaahhh, first world problems :laugh_hard:

Your prices may be bad, but I would give up all my LEGO if I could live in the Netherlands instead of where I am now.

Ahem...yes, well, hopefully Diagon Alley gets revealed soon.  Very soon.  As in, “why not this week?” soon.

I sure hope so, but why would they reveal DA three weeks before a potential VIP release (or five weeks before the official release) when the NES was unveiled two weeks and the Grand Piano just one week ahead of their release? SDCC obviously is of no concern to TLG this year and the pattern from two years ago isn‘t necessarily valid any more, so there’s no compelling reason for a reveal this week :shrug_confused:

And sure, it said „soon“ in the Q&A, but that’s not very specific, now is it

That being said, please prove me wrong TLG :cry3:

Our prices aren't necessarily bad, some sets just get a (small or big) price increase for no reason at all. Other than that we're doing great here

That’s not necessarily because of the 18+ thing, it might just be because that’s the best looking way to showcase the piano. Combined with the font used for the title and the sort of spotlight on the picture of the set itself it gives off “on stage at a fancy concert hall” kinda vibes.

When do you guys think the CMF would be revealed?

I'm actually more courios of the cmf then DA.

It could be revealed any day now, so guessing is kinda pointless :def_shrug:

same with australia

The At costs $30 more than the burrow. It makes no sense. At least Kmart has the sets cheap. Although your price increase is a lot more severe.

That's the plan as far as we know - or, let's say, as it's stated in the second half-year's catalogue ?

No, of course a lot of people know, just not anyone talking
Fan media etc often get the sets in time to review it before the reveal. They can even as we speak be building it, but they have no reason to brake the embargo :shrug_oh_well: Other people in the know will not say anything if that effects their info about future sets. We most likely will get the info when Lego decide it and that is fine, but hopefully it is soon.  Was rather surprised that we got the two minifigs leaks and it is probably a reason why we did not get any more, maybe Lego called the plumber and fixed the leak

You’re the devil

BTW, I assume it won’t take long before WB will follow suit and postpone a majority of their upcoming film slate as Disney, Sony and Paramount just did. Since the filming hasn’t even started and WB will probably need that November release date for Dune (since that one doesn’t really fit anywhere else in their schedule), I don’t think there’s any chance FB3 will still be released next year :sceptic: The only silver lining to this is that it increases the chances of the theme to continue into 2022 :shrug_oh_well:

Someone on Instagram is claiming, based on some confidential source, that there will be a Monster Book of Monsters polybag this fall.  That sounds like absolute nonsense to me, unless they are referring to the Neville Collectible Minifigure.  Just thought I might as well mention it here, anyway.  @Falconfan1414, care to weigh in on this one?

I saw that, sounds way too fishy to me, but it would be cool. I feel like the new Monster book of Monsters mold will remain exclusive to the CMF though, at least for now
