I also agree that the Diagon Alley GWP microset could offer a template for the D2C set, but I have a feeling the D2C set will be V shaped and include another street across from the one featured in the microset.

I also think it is possible that TLG may save WWW (or possibly Gringott’s) as a separate release to increase profitability, but we will have to wait and see.

Your Diagon Alley design idea is interesting though that would need a lot of shops to make up both sides of the alley. I don't see how they could make that so it is long enough unless all the shops were just facades, in which case it would be really awkward to display and not very playable. Personally I'm hoping for only one line of shops with the Leaky Cauldron on one side and Gringotts on the other so you can create the journey of the minifigures from one side to the other. If there was just one line of shops it would be much easier to display as well. However, a hint from kingnono on Instagram a while back said there would be pins in the set to connect the buildings together so you might be able to configure them in your v shape as well.

Wrong again. Take a closer look. New wings, new legs.

No need to get personal, guy. We’re just talking about little plastic toys here. Chill out.

And while you “may have an idea how they work”, I am explaining to you as someone with a business degree and a long history in print marketing and licensed publishing that these activity books are designed to sell more sets and generate excitement about new sets.

They are 100% made with the guidance and direction of TLG’s marketing department, which provides the artists with names and concept sketches of characters and sets that will be important from a sales perspective in the fiscal year to come.

I have to say, I totally agree, the children’s books are very cleverly constructed 50% prophecy and 50% subliminal marketing.

As such, I think it is obvious that the D2C set will be The Great Lake. I mean, it has a THREE PAGE FOLD-OUT! How could we miss this clear message?!? Diagon Alley? PAH! Nonsense.

Just 1x1’s, you build a little retaining beach around the edges, and then just open the bag and pour.

Spoiler alert: ...it’s microscale...
