The sticker sheet looks great, I’m excited to see the whole set! I’m surprised that the car seems to have a slightly different build as I kind of expected it to be identical to the Whomping Willow one. And on the subject of stickers, I’ve always heard people talk about how they peel up after a few years, but I’ve never experienced it myself, not even on sets from 2010 that I applied horrendously.

Almost every sticker I have from 2010 and older is peeling off, so far 2011 and beyond is doing fine

I've been collecting lego since 2001 and I've never had a problem with my stickers, so I guess its a matter of luck.

I am curious to how many rooms we will get in Privet Drive and the Burrow, personally I am hoping for a much bigger version of the Burrow.

Privet Drive is the livingroom, cupboard and Harry's bedroom. Burrow is currently unknown

Come on and show the pictures. I revisited 2019's thread and apparently the pictures came out on April 25th with the Expecto set leaking a few days before.

They could come anyday now so it shouldn't be much longer. But knowing they could come in 10 minutes, tomorrow or in 3 days makes the wait so much worse :wall: Especially considering most people are just sitting at home all day

No more than that?  I am surprised, I hope we get another bedroom and/or the kitchen.

I know, a part of me really thought it would be today because of yesterday's polybag reveal

There could be more but this is what was reported from TF so we'll have to wait and see

Same for me, but a few years later they started peeling off again. For example, the stickers of my 2017 UCS Snowspeeder started self-destructing very quickly, after less than 1.5 years, so the problem definitely hasn't been fixed.

I don't have any problems with stickers for sets after 2008, but the ones before that are starting to crumble somehow.

Okay, let's just hope they can get the right shape on the Burrow.

Yeah the fact stickers exist doesn't bother me but in the long run it really hurts the look of your sets

I expect them to be revealed at the top (or maybe the bottom) of the hour, so I kept checking all fan media pages hourly - nah, say half-hourly

I know what you're talking about :drunk:

My major hope for the Burrow (build-wise) is it'll have the big overhang the 2011 version lacked

The only solution for this problem would be prints imo but I defnitely don't want to know how big the price increase would be if they started printing everything.

The solution would be using only the clear stickers, because (in my experience) they're not affected.

But clear stickers are MUCH easier to mess up than non-clear stickers

You might be right but they are more difficult to appeal as you have to avoid finger prints and bubbles.

Edit: @Guyon2002 has the point

The longevity of the sticker adhesion depends largely on the storage conditions and the number of initial reattachements of the sticker. I have stickers from the 90s and early 2000s which are still savely attached. Some curved pieces do show peeling however. You should avoid high temperatures (or rather high changes in temperatures) like they occur when storing your Lego in boxes in the attic or garages. The combination of high humidity combined with higher temperatures leads also to degradation of the adhesive.

Probably also from playing, the ones with the worst peeling have been played with the most out of all of my sets

But the white stickers mess themselves up when they inevitably crack and crumble away. It seems more important to me that the material doesn't deteriorate (especially in expensive collector's sets).
