I wouldn't be too optimistic. While yes there is the sticker for the door, but having the Ford Anglia build makes me think the rest of it is going to focus more on CoS, so I doubt we'll get many owls. Also there's only about 4 owl designs I can think of that are accessible nowadays: Hedwig, Hedwig (wings spread), Cho's owl, eye shut owl from a Lego city mini set.

I agree, I love the original but it could be a bit more screen accurate.

For the inside I also want 2 more bedrooms, so that every weasley (living at home in hbp) has a place to sleep, or at least 1 more. I think they might be able to pull it off, put it's probably unrealistic to hope for.

There is no reason why they can not bring back the brown and grey also, so I am hopeful at least

I rarely if ever attach a sticker more than once; and this usually happens with all stickers of a set at about the same time.

I noticed stickers peeling off from curved elements in a few cases as well, but that seems to be an entirely different problem from the stickers that really develop cracks all over and disintegrate.

Since in my experience clear stickers never do this while white stickers nearly always did before 2010 and still often do now, I doubt that the adhesive alone is the problem. It's got to be the white foil itself, or an unwanted reaction between the adhesive they use and the white foil.

The main feature of the room is the fireplace according to those descriptions so it wouldn't suprise me if they skipped the kitchen alltogether

Now when the stickers have leak'd and confirmd that we will get another ford angliga.. I'm really disappointed :( It have been better if they have done the Dursley's house bigger than give us a second car. Or Hagrid's motorbike like someone else mention here.

I like the sticker of paintings on Dursleys family and Harry and hes mother. But i'm not a fan of the door stickers. Big detaild stickers looks odd to me. I probably don't put it on. I wasen't a fan of the beauxbatons carriage printers either and have modified mine to get more gold details on. I hope they will give us like 5 owl's, but I know the chanse is low for that.

Yeah, not having a kitchen in a house would seem weird to me but very possible. Should be easy to MOC in even if it's just a sink and a cooker to the side.

The Ford Anglia shouldn't come as a surprise, we've known that for a few months now. And while it may sound tempting to remove the Anglia from the set and use its budget on Privet Drive itself it really wouldn't be much bigger than it's going to be. Hagrid's motorbike would be a weird inclusion imo, especially considering the Dursleys don't even appear in that scene.

I would really like to see Hagrid’s motorbike eventually, though. Just out of morbid curiosity as to how the hell they would pull that off...? I don’t see it happening with the current Hagrid and motorcycle molds available, not to mention the legs issue, AND creating a sidecar... The chances of failure are innumerable.

I would like to have it too but there is no set in which it's inclusion would make sense unless they're going in the non-canon route. I mean technically it is Sirius' motorcycle so in the non-canon route they could do something with him  But who am I kidding? That will never happen

I applied the stickers for sets 4565, 4532 and 4552 (some of the old 9 V train stuff from 1996) as a kid during Cristmas 97. All stickers are still on there with no peeling to this day. That's over 20 years. Those stickers are clear-backed. But also the paper ones that came with some of the first Prequel Trilogy Star Wars sets (like 7256 from 2005 which I hold in my hand as I write this) are still good (15 years). Same with the sticker in 4702 Harry Potter The final Challenge which is made of a thicker material. I did play with all those sets when I was a kid and then stored them for a long time during my dark ages.

I am an engineer and have to deal with quality issues on a regular basis. Environmental and thermal conditions play a big role when it comes to long-term stability of adhesives.

Edit: Concerning the cracks and disintegration of the paper: Did you by any chance leave your sets with the stickers in a room with prolonged exposure by direct sunlight through a window?

Well, it always could appear in a set based on the opening of Deathly Hallows, albeit unlikely.

True, but I was more thinking of the Hagrid + baby Harry combo. It's still rather unlikely though as I really don't see a way for LEGO to pull it off given how Hagrid is made

That’s probably the likeliest scenario. If we get it, it’ll be from that scene. There could easily be a smaller set with Harry, Hagrid, and any of the Death Eaters or Order members in that scene. And of course...Hedwig
