That means only two more days of this You don't enjoy conversations about a new leak slowly devolving into discussions about the durability of different types of LEGO stickers and the conditions and colors that make them deteriorate or loose their adhesive? As interesting as I find the speculation and all the strange discussions it has led to, it would be nice to finally see some new sets after 176 pages of discussion.
Vindicare Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 I also use next weekend to refer to the following week’s weekend. So next weekend to me would be May 1/2. Hopefully they come this weekend(which technically is the next weekend), April 24/25.

Portal Out Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 I’m really hyped for this wave! Privet Drive sounds awesome already, and I missed out on the burrow last time, so I’m hoping this one will be even better. I’m praying that they don’t waste any pieces on lame side builds like a wedding tent or a garage, but even if they do, this one supposedly has almost double the part count of the last one or something. Who am I kidding, so many of these sets sound like insta-buys for me already! Also, call me crazy but I’m kinda enjoying the slow trickle of leaks we’ve been getting. Always gives me something to look forward to in the morning. However, #legoleaks on Instagram has kinda gone downhill lately...

It’s not as explicitly stated in the movie as the books, but logic does dictate that the locks and window bars couldn’t have been fitted on the same day the Dursley’s had their dinner guests. You're right. I was recalling Dobby arriving on Harry's birthday in the book and Ron wishing Harry a happy birthday as they fly away in the movie. Canonically it was three days later on August 3, and Ron was just wishing a belated happy birthday. Anyway, my point still stands about the set representing multiple scenes. Much like sets taking place at Hogwarts Castle, there can be a big time gap. Edited April 23, 2020 by Albus

The garage is possible, but I hope they do not waste parts on it.. Since it is not wedding tent characters I think there are slim chance of that, maybe it could be a separate set in the future
THELEGOBATMAN Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Huh, so I guess if we don't see sets this weekend, then we'll at least know when they're coming.
ItamatTheGreat Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 There's creator sets leaking now. I think that's a good sign of what's to come.

The last Burrow set had two side-builds, a separate floo network feature with green flame and the marsh they fight in during HBP. As this new set is supposed to be bigger I expect the floo network chimney will be integrated into the actual house but I still think there will be some sort of marsh side-build.

The minifigure list confirms it's based on HBP and if it included the wedding tent we would've definetely gotten Bill, Fleur etc 2 hours ago, HalfBloodPrince said: Its been going downhill for a long time, people keep posting non-leak stuff and even non-lego stuff on that hashtag now. THELEGOBATMAN Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Ahhh the sets (not HP yet) start leaking, I am so hyped. I am pretty confident now that "next weekend" refers to this weekend.

The first thing I do in the morning is to check out how many new pages this thread has - that gives me an indication whether there is a new leak/reveal or not. 41 minutes ago, THELEGOBATMAN said: Ahhh the sets (not HP yet) start leaking, I am so hyped. Thieda Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Damn I've never seen so much discussion for two words lol. I also think we will see the sets this weekend since we are starting to see other themes.

Thieda Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 I can't wait to see the set pictures because then all we can do is speculate for the next like two months about the D2C.

I know it represents multiple scenes, but even with Hagrids bike it will represent multiply scenes but an another scene. It would be much more logic if we get the weasley's twin insted of Ron & Dobby. This is what I mean lego is not accurate. It had happend in other hp sets to. I like when they represent multiplies scenes, but instead of the car that we already get i had prefer the bike.

The bike wouldn't have made much sense though. Besides there being no way to fit Hagrid on a bike while keeping it in human scale (it's still Sirius' bike after all) the Dursleys don't appear in that scene at all. The only characters we see are Harry, Hagrid, Dumbledore and McGonagall wich would reduce the figurecount with 2 figures.

Well, we've seen weirdest things happening (the Basilisk in the Great Hall) and the bike wpuld make sense since we see it twice there (in the first and in the last one)! IMO it's very difficult because there's no way to make a good looking bike that the Hagrid minifig can use, but besides that I think it would have worked in the set!

Well ignoring the issues the bike would bring I just don't think it would make any sense to put it in a Privet Drive set. At least in my opinion the only way we could get that bike is either an impossibly oversized polybag or a set based on the Battle of the Seven Potters
deskp Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 I would have liked to see lego try this hair for Ron and given him a more determined mature face to go with it. Its a bit more tidy than one might want, but within the bounds of lego it seems a fair fit.

Aside from this: why is that all the leaks seem to arrive in the morning (I'm in Europe)?
BrickBob Studpants Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Keep in mind that the source of the City and Creator leaks is a Portuguese retailer, and this is apparently all they‘ve (currently) got However, if they have finalised pictures, other retailers have them too

But included in a larger Privet Drive set it doesn't make much sense. There isn't really a set time for when things leak, they just leak when they leak. If most of them seem to come in the morning it's just a coincidence
