I'm really excited for LEGO SW: The Skywalker Saga and The Last of Us Part II, but LSW doesn't have a releasedate yet and TLOSII just got delayed again :damn:

At least I still have LEGO to keep myself busy

It sucks to not have a release date, it's definitely coming this year but when? Summer? September? December? I hope they announce it soon.

I'm also waiting for Marvel's Avengers, I hope it turns out great. I've been playing Arkham Knight recently and I consider purchasing Uncharted 4, Witcher 3 and Jurassic World Evolution.

Back on the topic I wonder if leaks are really happening this weekend or next weekend. I can see unlicensed themes leaking this week and licensed ones next week.

I've just finished Arkham Knight, Uncharted 4 is currently free for PS Plus members but idk if you use a PS4 to play your games. As someone who has been playing JWE since day one and has spend 100+ hours playing I highly recommend buying the game and all the DLCs but not for full price. The main game lacks content and thus gets boring way too fast, the DLCs really help with that but they are (at least imo) overpriced.

I'd definetely recommend watching the SW movies first, will make playing the game way more fun (unless you want to discover the story through the game itself). I've been playing the LHP Collection on and off for the last few months, it's kinda hard to get through. Obviously it's a much older game but I can't stand the lack of dialogue

I've been putting off playing The Complete Saga too! It's just kinda annoying they're not on streaming services and my laptop doesn't have a DVD drive!

I love the older games without dialogue personally. I feel it lost a little bit of the charm when they got rid of all the grunts. But only a little. I'm sure if I grew up with the spoken ones I'd feel the other way round.

Yeah, I'm wondering if they're holding off releasing it until after covid.

Either way, I'm sure it's gonna be the best Lego game yet - it's been the only one in development for over a year I believe, which is a long gap for TT Games. It does sound amazing.

All Star Wars movies and series are on Disney+, but we should probably all move back to topic lol

Whilst we are on the topic of video games, I wonder if there's any chance of a set or two based off the new Harry Potter game that is being worked on. The Old Republic and Minecraft Dungeons got sets in somewhat similar scenarios (an existing theme and a new game)

OMG I just Googled it and saw that the game was meant to be announced. I honestly thought it was cancelled it had been so long since the leak. YAY.

Been playing some Lego Harry Potter Collection in the meantime though and it's a great nostalgia trip :excited:

Yeah I've just been doing the same to ease the wait. I'm only halfway the content of the first movie but man do those Dursley and Diagon Alley scenes make be hyped. Especially the Diagon Alley music.

I almost wanna recreate the scene with dudley continuing eating while the letters fly in when the set comes out, so iconic xD

I'm currently on the third. I  forgot hwo much I love these Lego games, and they look so pretty compared to playing back on the Wii. My favourite scene to be Lego-ified is probably the Chamber of Secrets. For some reason I've always had a dislike to forest levels. Trouble is a Mario Maker 2 update dropped so I'm struggling to find the time to play both!

It cracks me up that people are talking about video games that aren't even related to HP.
We're just our own little community, doing our best to stay sane in this horrible time.

Fingers crossed for set pictures tomorrow!

SIDE NOTE: Does anyone know why retailers in the United States very rarely discount sets that are $90+, but they have no difficulty putting smaller sets on sale for 20-30% off within a month?  For that reason, my first priorities are going to be the Burrow and the Astronomy Tower, which, to be fair, are my favorites, anyway.  :shrug_confused:

I'm not really sure. The same thing seems to happen in Canada. All the cheaper sets are put on discount quickly but the more expensive sets are full-price for a while.

This is kind of different, because you actually create your own character in this game (there's a custom creator at the beggining). We could still get some cool sets with generic students and characters from the game (not the main one which is custom).

Don't forget the recent ones - January Avengers sets included minfigures based on those from the game, and there was also an SDCC exclusive PS4 Spider-Man.

There are so many DLCs and they are so overpriced on PS Store. I need to find them somewhere else for a good price.

They also released Uncharted collection (1-3) a few days ago for free (for everyone). I don't use PS Plus, but fortunately it's really cheap.

Can we get back on topic? I want to read about hp lego here :)

About set 75978 that the rumors about an underground scene. I know many have speculated of an MoM set, but maybe it will be an set with the merpeople under the lake? Or it's far fetched thoughts?

All evidence points to 75978 being the Diagon Alley D2C, so the underground scene will be part of Gringotts.

I’ve just read on Lego leaks Insta the list of sets getting revealed from Monday to Wednesday, but there is no mention of Harry Potter?

That list is fake. Just a few salty, angry people who blame the leakers for not giving them ninjago leaks. Just ignore them, they have no idea where they are talking about.

They sound extremely entitled, can’t they wait 1-8 days for reveals?

I've read on stonewars and DA D2C haven't a set number and 75978 seems to be another set.

Wow, how impatient, it's not hard to wait a few days is it?!

Is it...?

Is it......?

Edit: I should say, now having read what they're saying, it doesn't compare in any way to our impatience and I take my joke back.

yeah that is just a made up thing by a bunch of attention seekers looking for people to get angry at for Lego not revealing set pictures yet. There is no order in it. It doesn’t work like that

This seems to be a very common sentiment but I’m just really looking forward to seeing the design of the Astronomy Tower. I’m trying to picture it in the style of the last three sections. No other small sections of castle have been reported to come with it, but I’m curious about that nonetheless. I wonder how the greenhouse will look with the tower too.

I'm also wondering if they'll stay canon with the height and make it taller than all the other towers. I wouldn't imagine they'd make it too much taller.

I hadn't really thought about it but if the greenhouse is connected and not just a loose build then it would surely be the end of the line of Hogwarts connected sets.

The room of requirement is supposed to connect too right? Maybe at the back of the Great hall where there are still connector bricks.

I think if they continue the modular style Hogwarts sections, the next two sections that would really hold it all together would be the Quad and the Long Gallery. Both are large enough sections to be sea for sure. After that, a stand-alone Owlery would be stellar.
