I don't see anyone mentioning a Hedwig set. Who's your source?

Stonewars posted it in their story this morning. Isn’t that the set number for the missing $40 set? Either it’s the wrong number, or the Hedwig isn’t very big

If it's real I'm honestly kind of glad. Saves me some money for other themes (I'm in love with more themes than my wallet can handle so there have to be compromises )

Haha yes. Star Wars alone will bankrupt you these days :)

So true, luckily the Harry Potter sets have pretty good prices

I suppose it depends on the scale. I can see them going relatively small to capture all those who wouldn't think of buying it if it was bigger, both due to space and cost. A smaller, but still detailed, model would probably catch the eye of those who maybe aren't even generally into buying Lego but think it would make a cute little display piece.

I’m surprised at how fantastic the value is on these sets, Star Wars prices are outrageous

That they do. Like I said on the SW thread, they put some other licensed themes to shame. It just shows that licensed doesn't have to = ridiculous pricing. And it makes our waiting so much more exciting because we're all thinking: 'No, you can't possibly get that, that and that in a set for £X!' ?

Maybe I’m just used to the Star Wars buildable creatures and Droids that go for $100 or so

Here's some more info on the builds of the sets:

Room of Requirement: 3 walls that can be folded out to form 1 long wall, 1 of the walls has a fireplace. The set itself can't be connected to Hogwarts so some modification is required

The Forbidden Forest: Grawp is build similairly to Ares from Wonder Woman. The Centaurs are ''minifigure torso's on a new horse body mold''

Escape from Privet Drive: the house has a fireplace, cupboard and Harry's bedroom. Some sources are saying Fred and George are included instead of Ron and Dobby

Hogwarts Astronomy Tower: includes the Astronomy classroom (top of the tower), Ravenclaw common room and Slughorn's office. There may be more figures than we currently know of, this is not confirmed. It's possibly the largest Hogwarts extension to date

Hedwig: Hedwig is 25 cm wide and is built with open wings. There's a Harry Potter figure included, possibly an exclusive

Advent Calendar: comes with a few exclusive figures. Price might be higher than last year

CMF: European price will be 4 euro, the US still has the $5 price

EDIT: all of this info is reliable as it comes from Stonewars

Great info. I do hope there are some additional minifigures that were overlooked before. Remember Cedric last year with the Clocktower? Wasn’t in the minifigure list by Randomblocker

It's possible for the AT to come with more figures but wether or not it actually does is currently unknown

Apparently 75969 will be a buildable Hedwig. Neat concept but a waste of a set in my opinion.

Oh cool! I thought that might be the case with that vague "big but not a playset" description. (Well, not that it would be Hedwig specifically, but some kind of brick-built magical creature.)

I also would still expect a couple of August sets as well. Maybe that’s when we’ll get our Ministry Battle and possibly even the Inferi cave. That’s why I have no issue with the lineup in this wave. I think we’ll get more essentials, it’s just spread out. And honestly, I couldn’t care less what characters show up in CMF as opposed to sets. Even characters that could easily show up in a set are fine as CMFs to me because it’s not like this theme is going anywhere. Slow and steady is working very well for this theme

I'm very happy with all this, the Harry I'll get separate to Hedwig if it's a unique print.

Ravenclaw common room is interesting, only the staircase appears in DHII, still cool nevertheless. Shame there is no greenhouse, but the fact it may be bigger than the Great Hall and Clock Tower is exciting. Extra possible figures - Snape and Filch would be appropriate but boring, Ginny or Cormac would be a bit better. Perhaps even Marcus Belby or party guests, but that is much more obscure :D

The RoR having the fireplace is cool, I hope the clockwork Death Eater and notice board make an appearance too.

Grawp sounds about right, glad the Centaurs have their own body piece.

Fingers crossed for F&G over Dobby and Ron, but no biggie either way really :)

Thanks for the info. I find a few things interesting:

1) I'm surprised the Room Of Requirement is a Hogwarts room that doesn't fit onto or into the current Hogwarts sections. It seemed they were going modular with Hogwarts.

2) I wouldn't be surprised (and would love) if Privet Drive came with Fred and George. It would make sense with the car, but I feel it's too much to hope for.

3) Hedwig would have to come with an 'exclusive' figure. Really hope it doesn't.

So it turns out HP-6 is 75979 and it's Hedwig... at least I'll save some money. But here's the interesting thing.

75966-75969 (HP-(1-4)) are the June wave of HP sets this year. 75970-75977 are Overwatch sets, this year they'll change their set number to 769**. 75979 is Hedwig (HP-6). 75981 is the Advent Calendar.

I think it's safe to assume we'll get an August wave (I'm not confirming anything, just a speculation). I think that 75978 is HP-5, while 75980 is HP-7. Like last, the set numbers end with Advent Calendar, and there are two unused set numbers in between regular sets and the AC, as well as a missing HP-5 number.

If it's true, I hope for Ministry of Magic Battle and an Inferni Cave sets.

Hi, I'm new to this discussion. I'm fluent in German and there's some more information Stonewars has provided that hasn't been shared here yet.

The Astronomy Tower will also include the Greenhouse. Also the figures included are still just speculation, they heard rumours that other figures might be included aswell.

Added to these sets that we now have information on, there also might be some more sets we don't know about just yet, similar to last year's later released wave.

A bit disappointed with the RoR not being able to connect to Hogwarts, but I'll get the set eitherway.

The Forbidden Forest set is going to be amazing!

I really hope the Astronomy Tower has a couple more figures, maybe a black robed McGonagall and Cormac McLaggen?

If the Harry is exclusive I'm getting the Hedwig set for sure, if not, it'll depend if I like it enough or not. Minifigures are my favorite thing about Lego so not really excited.

Really hoping the exclusive figures will be the Patil Twins, Igor Karkaroff and McGonagall with her Yule Ball Dress, I'm fine getting repeats of the main trio.

Welcome! If there is a Greenhouse, I really hope Sprout is in the set!

I hope not, she deserves a CMF spot

That also sounds right, what would her accessory be tho? If she is in the CMF I hope other staff like Pomfrey and Lockhart are in it.

Not all figures really need an accesory. I'm fine with her not having an accesory if she comes with a brand new hair/hat mold
