The Executioner's name is Walden MacNair. He's also a Death Eater. Darn, TheRandomBlocker beat me to it. Edited May 19, 2020 by Brick Guru

I was more referring to how in the set they dont have specified names. Looking back at the set description for Hagrid’s Hut they also just call Fudge “Minister of Magic” so I guess by the standards I previously set Fudge would be an unnamed character as well it is odd though how Lego chooses to give all the student characters even the very obscure ones (Hannah Abbot) names and yet didnt specify Fudge or McNair. Also, just a minor clarification, I don’t believe the Executioner from the films was specifically named to be McNair, bc in GoF when Voldemort is ripping masks off in the graveyard, the person he calls McNair looks nothing like the Executioner. Anyway, that also reminds me that the Death Eater they included in the graveyard set is an “unnamed” generic type of character. And back to my point, in the first movie, when we first see Diagon Alley, I definitely remember scenes if not dialogue among unnamed characters marveling at the shop windows. These characters possibly had names in the books, but for the sake of brevity in the movies were just given one or two lines. This is the reason, I dont think it would be too far off for LEGO to include some “shopping witches and wizards” and perhaps even give them names from the book. Edited May 19, 2020 by m0repotter

It’s $400, not £400, so will likely be about £350 although less would be nice. However you also have to factor in inflation, as well as the fact that Lego’s gotten much more detailed recently - so today’s equivalent of the 2011 set would probably cost more now. But we don’t even know how many pieces overall or how many pieces roughly per shop or the size of shops, so speculating about the number of shops right now is an easy way to set yourself up for disappointment if you’re too ambitious. I’d love to be wrong but I’ve said many times, in my opinion 5 shops is expected and 6 would be a bonus. I’m not sure 7 is realistic. 3 hours ago, SuperChris said: I really can’t imagine getting 20 figures in the Diagon Alley set. I’ve listed 20 that could appear, even if some stand no chance (Would we really get Quirrel again? Borgin only ever appeared in a deleted scene IIRC). What does everyone else think? The ones in bold I think have the highest chance of appearing. Harry Ron Hermione Hagrid Tom (Barkeeper) Lucius Draco Ginny Lockhart Goblin #1 Goblin #2 Fred George Olivander Borgin Quirrel Fudge Bellatrix Narissa Greyback I agree. If they have too many it’ll either be repeats from sets (what’s the point, it just increases the price) or figures for the sake of figures of random characters (again, what’s the point). Edit: actually there is a point in random characters I suppose to just be shop browsers. 3 hours ago, RealGeronimo11 said: If the Great Hall was £90 and had 10 minifigs, I'd assume Dragon Alley would have quite a bit more And The Rise of Voldemort was £20 and had 4. Exactly my point, you can’t judge an amount of figures based on price, also, that set may have only had 4 minifigures, but it did also include Baby Voldemort, so technically you were right before the edit ?
lego_guyon02 Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 (edited) CMF figures cost 4 euro and the D2C 400. Take out around 200 for the buildings and that would leave us with 50 figures. Basic math, I honestly don't even know why nobody found this out earlier If it's anything lower than 50 we will riot because that's otterly ridiculous! Edited May 19, 2020 by Guyon2002

Agent Kallus Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 (edited) a CMF bag? The last lot were £2.99/ €3.99 /$3.99 this next series will likely be £3.49/ € 3.99 /$4.99 though. Edited May 19, 2020 by Agent Kallus

m0repotter Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 (edited) The only way I’d pay $400 for no builds is if it included every single HP character ever, w multiple variants, the most obscure of figures, and all magical creatures were included Edited May 19, 2020 by m0repotter
