It’s not like there isn’t a bit of a precedent for Lego to skip ahead a bit (Hogwarts Express) and one of Kingnono’s early hints was a quote from Hermione polyjuiced as Bellatrix. I’d rather get Hagrid and year one casual clothes Harry in the Diagon Alley set, since that outfit for Harry is much more iconic in the Ollivander’s scene. I agree ? - I’d much rather have a dragon escape add on. I’m just trying to figure out how this leg prints clue figures in to the equation.

Well, when you think about it, there aren’t many characters who actually need new leg prints (and it’s specifically new leg prints that kingnono implies we won’t be getting many of). Lockhart and maybe the twins need new legs, but Lucius can just use the Snape ones and I have a feeling the rest of the minifigure lineup for DA will be the trio and other teenage characters (possibly with alternate forms from different movies) and goblins, none of whom would use leg prints at all, let alone new ones. On the bright side - less budget spent on new leg prints means more money for new torso and face prints, right?

If you see pictures and the name of the D2C set you get my hint: 75978 and Diagon Alley are not the same set.” The more I re-read this, the more I think 75978 could be a Gringott’s Vault add-on to the Diagon Alley set. Maybe a mini coaster. The minifigs could be two Goblins, Year 1 Harry, and Hagrid. All four of these figures would also probably have the same short black legs - no prints. Whatever it means, it sounds to me like he is hinting at some connection between the Diagon Alley set and 75978. I’m curious to hear what other folks think... He also hinted at us seeing more info and pictures of 75958 and Diagon Alley soon
m0repotter Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 this is beyond bizarre. i was hoping to do some digging on whether or not the mini figure pack was being released on june 1 in the states and oddly enough, when you google the set number a link to lego shop pops up but when you click on the link, nothing is there! (I have attached photos for clarity). do we think this means it will be up on the lego site soon? https://imgur.com/a/qqdqSlF

Since they didn't even add it to the US version, it will probably be released later with the rest of the sets.
Jinzol Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Next week are Recognized Fan Media Days. Of course this time not offline because of Corona, but there a online-interviews and we probably getting more informations.
BacktoBricks Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Why do I feel like we're going to get Diagon Alley: The Upside and Diagon Alley: The Upside Down. But then what was the 'He's back' quote referring to if not a Ministry set? I know Harry shouts it at the end of Goblet, but ...

Or is that what you're saying - it must be the Ministry because of that quote since it doesn't fit anything else.

Fudge says it at the Ministry so that and the 'iconic underground scene' made a Ministry set the most likely option. But the the way Kignono's latest hint is written potentially suggests the set is DA related. ?

The fact he refers to the set name especially tells me that Diagon Alley wouldn't just be named DA but something like "... in DA"/"...at DA"/"...of DA" - Just like the Burrow which is not simply named "The Burrow" but "Attack on the Burrow". So it could be possible that the DA set represents one specific scene which takes place in one specific shop while the other shops we get are just a nice (although big) addition. I just can't get why he refers to 75978 again. I thought it has already been clarified that it won't be the DA set. Edited May 24, 2020 by 8fifty

Maybe 75978 isn’t the “DA” everyone thought it was but a different one - Dumbledore’s Army. Could be a hint that 75978 features Dumbledore’s Army in the Ministry of Magic attack?
TheRandomBlocker Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Am I the only person finding this KingNono person rather... tiresome? I'm not a fan of riddles as it is, and a lot of his posts just seem to be him repeating himself ?

I think there’s a bit of a language barrier there, too, which makes matters worse. I probably shouldn’t overthink what he says, but I’m so eager for these last few reveals - especially Diagon Alley. And there’s not much else to do in quarantine haha.

I get that, but I hate things done in riddles, if you know something, say it, if you know nothing but pretend you do shut up, if you know something but can’t say it directly, don’t say, proper drives me insane it does my head in that much that whenever I reread the Hobbit I skip that entire chapter ?
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Personally, I like the way he handles his clues, keeps it more interesting to me He has provided hours of fun speculation in this thread, for which I‘m very grateful. Would‘ve been a dull season without him

So I don't complain. I like his riddles but I agree with you in some extent, the last ones got a little bit repetitive and abstract (maybe he can't tell us anything more because...the reveal is coming up very soon? ) . I also have the feeling that his earlier hints have been discussed more enthusiastically in this thread. Despite that, it is fun for me to think about them so I'm thankful to get at least some information
Icebrick Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Is it possible that "not one in the same" just means that the DA doesn't have the number 75978 and that they mentioned it again to make sure people knew that ?

It’s fun to discuss it, and I was all in on the discussion a few weeks ago, but now that we’ve seen the first wave of sets, I’ve sort of gotten a bit fed up of analysing clues... like I say, it’s fun, and of course kingnono is likely risking everything for the community which is appreciated, but at this point I’m kinda just like these clues are so cryptic I’m happy to wait until the official reveal. If I was planning on getting stuff day 1 I’d probably be more excited though. But since I’ve decided not to get the June sets until I’ve got all or most of 2018/19 ones (although I’m tempted to get the Burrow as a treat), I’m less inclined to actively speculate and search for info. Especially as I was glad the set pictures got officially revealed before they leaked, I’m happy to kinda ignore leaks for low. The other thing is, I trust Lego to do a good job and do it well. If I hype myself up with leaks, then I’ll either be disappointed if it isn’t as good / doesn’t include stuff as I’d hoped - whereas if it sucks without getting excited beforehand, I can just be like “oh well”. Lol Edited May 24, 2020 by sammy_zammy

We got the initial info on the summer sets from Luckybricks, we got more detailed descriptions from Stonewars, we got the CMF packaging from Promobricks and the info saying a D2C was coming came from jedijacpenguin. The only 'Kingnono exclusive' stuff is some Diagon Alley info/clues, some CMF riddles (which don't confirm much) and DA and 75978 not being the same set. Most of the info we had before LEGO revealed the sets didn't come from Kingnono. 52 minutes ago, TheRandomBlocker said: Am I the only person finding this KingNono person rather... tiresome? But at this point I’ll happily go with £45 in case it retires soon. But yeah you’ve put my feelings exactly - I kinda can’t be bothered with leak speculation and am happy to wait for proper pictures!
