If we’re going by kingnono’s hints then the odds of another non witch or wizard character in the cmf is unlikely. It also bears remembering that most people aren’t going to want to pick up a Harry Potter CMF bag and get a non magical character - the only Muggle in series 1 was Jacob and he’s got the advantage of being a main character. Marge doesn’t even need a new mold if you have Ripper as her accessory, since a new bulldog turned up in City sets recently. Given that, I think we’re more likely to see Marge in a polybag or some sort of bricktober pack like thing if Lego ever decides to revive the concept. 
As for your point about Lego putting characters who could fill ‘holes’ in the sets into the CMF: we already know we’re getting Professor Sprout to populate the Astronomy Tower greenhouse, lion headdress Luna Lovegood for our quidditch stands, a different version of Albus Dumbledore for his office in the Clocktower, Kingsley Shacklebolt holding a broom that suggests he belongs outside Privet Drive in OotP, and Moaning Myrtle who can hang out in the prefects’ bathroom in the Clocktower. Rumored characters also include Madame Pomfrey for the Clocktower’s hospital wing and OotP Tonks to go with Kingsley. Putting any more characters in that are specifically designed to go with sets might seem excessive under the circumstances.

All of kingnono’s hints are rumors until confirmed by Lego. And his ‘two per house’ hint leaves very few options aside from Tonks to fit with that rumor.

But he never mentioned a second Tonks at all, that’s what I’m saying. That was only speculation on our part. Rita and Pomfrey were mentioned by name. Personally I find two different exclusive Tonks minifigs in one wave unlikely, but we’ll see

Yes, her hair choice for the 2010-2011 wave was very inaccurate. The closest we currently have for Deathly Hallows is cho’s but it’s still very inaccurate. I would also like a HBP variant.

She definitely needs an update, but I think a DH version is a bit more likely  Maybe a remake of the Forbidden Forest set from 2011?

Well they do seem to like having a Forbidden Forest set every year so it's certainly possible. Then again there's usually some sort of additional scenery/object in each (Aragog, lake + patronus, Grawp), and I'm not sure what they could do for that in a set like that... it'd certainly have to have multiple trees to be more than a $10 set.

I feel like the four Champions are an exception because of the nature of their characters in the story. I’m not saying it’s not going to happen, I just don’t think it will

Except that historically the four champions weren’t exceptions - that’s why 2018 and 2019 were the first times we got Cedric and Fleur, despite Cedric’s death being an extremely pivotal plot point, the 2005 sets never included either of them. Tonks and Kingsley are pretty much right up there with Fleur and Cedric on the list of characters that were passed over in the theme’s first run that everyone really wanted. They’re all fan favorites that we’ve been waiting a long time to finally get, so after Lego took the opportunity to give us as many Fleur and Cedric variants as possible I can definitely see Lego giving us two Tonks variants in one wave, especially considering that the more subdued appearance from the Burrow isn’t her most popular appearance, and the CMF budget would allow them to pull out all the bells and whistles for a version based on her appearance at Grimmauld Place or the Ministry Battle. 
I think you’re also forgetting that each CMF character has to be fun and appealing in their own right, and OotP Tonks definitely fits the bill.

I wouldn’t compare the current theme with the past iterations. All I’m saying is I don’t think it’s going to happen but I sincerely hope you’re right

I would say the theme’s previous iteration does deserve to be considered when talking about what we’re getting now - not for a one to one comparison but because Lego is clearly considering what we got and what we didn’t when creating this theme reboot, and that’s been clear since Susan Bones (and more importantly her Hufflepuff uniform) showed up in the first set revealed. As someone who collected the theme from the very beginning, the effort Lego is putting into giving us things that were always missing the first time around is amazing. 
And I’ll leave this post at that, because I’m sure I could write a massive wall of text on the subject and what it means for what we could get in the future.

I haven't preordered yet as I really want to get a discount on the sets, so thanks for letting us know. I've bitten on this one and preordered although I think I'm at the back of a queue as it says it won't be delivered until 12th June, but that's okay.

I just looked and the 2nd wave for harry potter was revealed on may 11. The advent calender and knight bus were revealed in April. The reveal for these sets are long over due. I wouldn't be suprised if they get revealed in the next week or so. Maybe once the first wave come out.

I would think that they would be revealed closer to the end of June

I know I shouldn’t be this bothered by it but man it sucks that we have to wait another two months to get these in the US. Hopefully a retailer will get them in July like last year but even one month is no short time to wait. I’m very excited for all of you that are going to be able to get these soon though, I’ll be watching al the reviews for sure. I hope the time starts to fly

I’m hoping we’ll get news of Diagon Alley, the CMF series, and the other mystery set while we’re waiting

Yep, I initially cancelled my Amazon order for Waterstones but the similar pricing and guaranteed delivery for Tuesday pushed me to move it back to Amazon. Was a bit concerned it would arrive at the same time as The Burrow, since I wanted to space them out.

I will be hopefully be getting The Burrow from Lego too, but I can see it taking a while to arrive. When you can only order it on 1st and then they have to ship and under the current circumstances I can see that being my last build
