What hasn’t been made in minifigure scale yet is Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes, it’s only ever appeared in the 2018 gwp. Honestly as long as we get that shop and the twins I won’t really care what else is in the D2C (although the bibliophile in me would love Flourish and Blotts as well). Well we already know we’re getting a new Fawkes, which was 100% needed, so that’s great. As for the future I agree with you on the Pygmy Puffs. As far as other animals go I’d also love to see new versions of Fluffy and the basilisk, with at least new molds for their heads even if the bodies are brick built. And I don’t think I’ve hidden the fact that I really want new updated versions of Lupin’s werewolf form and Padfoot (they’re on an ever shortening list of things from the first run of the theme that are desperately in need of an update). It would also be cool if we got Hermione’s beaded bag in the Deathly Hallows sets next year. Couldn’t we potentially get Pygmy puffs through Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes if they’re not a new mould but a printed piece like the Mandrakes? Im still holding out hope for a new Werewolf Lupin and Padfoot! A CMF figure would be perfect because of the level of detail but maybe Lego think a werewolf minifigure wouldn’t be recognisable enough? Maybe an eventual shrieking shack could have a transformation like The Rise of Voldemort for both Lupin and Wormtail? Also I’d love a printed Time-Turner stud so other characters could use it
Brickity Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 I’ve seen in a few reviews of the burrow that the stickers seem to have very bad quality Like a cheap home printer quality. Can anyone who already got their hands on the burrow comment on it?

Well, they are stickers and not prints, but that's a totally different topic. There are some transparent stickers for the windows that are difficult to apply but that's yesterday's news.

Well I’ve seen it in the bed stickers, the weird sisters poster, the W and the Egypt portrait in a few reviews. Dunno if it was intentional but it would be odd either way. They have this aliased texture that I haven’t seen in stickers before, they’re always perfectly smooth and anti-aliased.

Yeah I noticed the same on photos...
TheRandomBlocker Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Just got my RoR/SP delivered and the one thing I’ve picked up on, WHY DOES LUNA HAVE SHORT LEGS IN THE CMF?!

Ah, that's what you mean. I thought that it's an intentional design to give them some structure ?

Well they hadn’t really decided yet how they were going to transition the short, medium, and regular legs. I had plenty of regular legs in that color lying around so I just swapped them out for consistency

It's just Lego. There are a lot of inconsistencies that were caused by the introduction of mid legs in 2018. For example: 1. Year 2 Neville from CMF has mid legs, but he should have short legs. 2. Year 5 Luna from CMF has mid legs (she should have had normal legs), but Year 4 Luna from RoR has long legs (should have had mid legs). 3. Year 3 trio have short legs instead of mid legs in Hogwarts Express. Edited June 5, 2020 by THELEGOBATMAN

I actually completely forgot that CMF Luna is based on HBP because I haven’t seen her in ages, she’s in a box under my bed ?

I find the inconsistencies very annoying as I'm very much a purist and don't like to change things. But another thing for me is that CMF Cho has mid legs, but her hair is the OOTP style whereas in the new student pack she has normal legs and her hairstyle is actually more like her GOF look. So either her hairpieces or legs need switching. ? But never mind ... Also I've just listened to the chapter of PS read by The Cursed Child cast and they actually read it really well. ?

I think a werewolf in the CMF would be a great figure: a new printed head mould and the rest of the parts same as the Demogorgon I think there is opportunity to get lots of the DH accessories and McGuffins such as the items from Dumbledore's will with the trio too in a future CMF series: Harry (travel clothes): mirror fragment and the Snitch Ron (travel clothes): potentially a new Gryffindor Sward and the Deluminator Hermione (travel clothes): magical beaded bag and Tales of Beedle the Bard book :D
lego_guyon02 Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 It would be really cool to get Pygmy Puffs like the little lava creatures from Nexo Knights

Haha I also plan on giving Luna from ROR medium legs for the same reason. At least none of those are printed so it’s easy enough 12 minutes ago, Guyon2002 said: It would be really cool to get Pygmy Puffs like the little lava creatures from Nexo Knights That would actually work pretty well

The Stone could be just a print on a 1x1 tile or I guess they could use a black pyramid piece. I’d also like new Horcrux molds but it just seems like they’d be difficult given how small most of them are. For the resurrection stone some people have proposed a black recolour of the infinity stones, this is a custom from a great Lego HP enthusiast:

Balrogofmorgoth Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Kingnono is still posting some things. Not hints or leaks but general information about some sets possibly retiring. I’m torn because he does seem to be in the know with some aspects of Lego and I just can’t help but wonder if we wrote him off too early after he got some info wrong

Legopls Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 (edited) I don't know if this is the right place for speculation and I may be running ahead of things, but what do you guys think next year has in store for us? I'm really curious what sets they'll do for the Deathly Hallows movies! Edited June 5, 2020 by Legopls
