Where can the new Griphook be seen?

On the CMF packaging that leaked back in March, I'm pretty sure you can still see it on Promobricks

EDIT: ninja'd

Thanks, sorry, I had seen that one but I thought a new image had been leaked in relation to the D2C set.

Nah, we were discussing minifigures having ears/noses and I wondered what people thought of the look of Griphook without his nose but with his ears

Ok well here is something. More evidence is going to come out to show a certain someone is even more wrong. There is a big set coming and it will be what people want it to be

Thank you for this @Falconfan1414! My money is still on the big set that people want being a minifig scale Diagon Alley in the same layout as the GWP Diagon Alley (another theory noknow made a point of shooting down). No Burgin & Burke’s as noknow boldly claimed. Just Gringott’s, Ollivander’s, Quality Quidditch Supplies, Flourish & Blott’s, and Weasley Wizard Wheeze. Any word on WHEN this evidence is going to be revealed? Those of us in the US are desperate for some info to keep us going while we wait for the sets to be released here. Thanks again.

I was wondering if any other people here are planning to buy an entire box for HP Series 2, and if so where are you planning to get it from?

Minifiguremaddness.com  I've ordered from them many times before and I've always been satisfied

Thanks, I'll make sure to check their site out. Usually I just buy whatever figures I want seperately but this is the first time I'm planning on buying / able to afford a whole box

I am going to get a whole box too. Doesn’t LEGO S@H sell them by the box?

Yes they do but I don't know if they will release the whole box on the day the series comes out

B&B Spielwaren sells complete boxes as well as complete sets and single minifigures. They usually team up with Promobricks so you can get a 15% discount some weeks before they are about to be released :sweet:

I will be buying a box, so if there is any Norwegians here, who want to buy a complete series off me (no markup) send me a message.

I got no patience for romaging in stores.  last time i got a box i did try to feel them out. but even with no pressure and infinite time in the comfort of my own home. i was really bad at it.

I’m gonna be one of those boring people who just buys a full set of figures off eBay, I’m not bothered about having a full box and cba with rummaging for specific figures, I’ll buy the odd pack and hope for a decent duplicate, but to start with I’ll buy them on eBay

I’m seriously considering it but I’ve never done it before so I’m not really sure where to look or what to compare to

I always go for the feel method and will continue this year, especially considering the current global circumstance has pretty much subsided in Australia. So not really afraid of the shops. Only made 3 feeling mistakes since series 3 when I started (one of which I was pretty sure wasn't what I thought. But I didn't care). I've ended up with 7 copies of Percival Graves. I didn't even scalp them at the start, been finding them in the months and years since released. Found 2 of them just 3 weeks ago in half empty boxes at my local ebgames! :-)

I don’t reed all the posts, don’t now if there’s information about it, but can anyone tell me if there’s a official way to connect the ROR on the Hogwarts Castle System? If there is some information on the instructions?

There's no official way to connect it, as far as LEGO is concerned it's a standalone thing

I will go for the feel method as well, because last time I massively overpaid on eBay.  However, I will be wearing a facemask and gloves.  :shrug_oh_well:

Has anyone in Australia gained any sort of update on what's going on with the sets  release in Australia? Especially wondering about the Burrow and Student Pack. Just wondering if anyone has spoken to or heard from support or anything as to potential availability or anything. :-)

Thanks ;) I will probably then, when have the sets, connected the ROR perpendicular to the AT because both sides of the set are inside walls and AT have pins to connect perpendicular.

You’ll have to do some minor technic brick modification if you have it in the official setup btw, in J2G’s video he showed how the gap isn’t quite big enough between the AT pin hole and the Whomping Willow floor.

Like the sound of that :sweet:

I still think/hope it is a set based mostly on the first film, with 2-3 shops on each side of a narrow cobblestone street, with a brick wall in one end and Gringotts in the other end (with pins so you can put every shop on one side or move them around as you like)

Sort of. Going in on a box with a friend this time. I’m just getting a full set & he’s taking the rest. I did buy a full box of Series 1(which he also ended up taking the leftovers)...but that was only because of Graves since I figured he’d be hard to find.

Just finished building the sets a couple of hours ago. I'm expecting the Students pack to come next week.

- RoR is a nice little build.

- Hedwig has a nice realistic flying motion. And while it's not system scale, I like it as a nice display piece. But normally I only prefer system scale sets.

- The Forbidden Forest set has nice looking tree where you can store some loose items like the bicycle steer. Grawp looks nice except for his back indeed.

- Attack on the Burrow is really nice and detailed. I don't really see what's wrong with the stickers, they seem fine to me. I think this is my favourite in this wave.

- Astronomy Tower looks nice too. I don't really mind the white frames, but I do agree I'd prefer them to be tan or brown. I found it odd though that according to the instructions Luna and Draco don't have a wand, so I just gave them spares. Also Luna is missing on the final page (before the piece inventory) where the whole set and all minifigures are shown.

- 4 Privet Drive also look nice with all its details.

Well I’m thinking Falconfan’s clue proves that the D2C is Diagon Alley, but just as one last shot in the dark, what if it was a Ministry of Magic set in the vein of the Death star D2C, with multiple iconic action scenes being depicted, or perhaps a large CoS, which we all have been longing for a set of for quite some time? Either way, if they do make other HP D2Cs moving forward, I think a MoM one would be a great option. Needless, to say, especially w some of us already having purchased the whole first wave of sets, I am honestly more excited than ever to see photos of the D2C (whatever it is!). I feel like I’m already over this wave and itching to see the rest of the CMF series, the AC, and of course to finally have actual details regarding this mysterious D2C!
