Modal Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 There’s no problem with gathering information, that’s totally ok. I think it should be clarified though that you aren’t a leaker if your information is just collected leaks from various people. clearly some people have watched your stuff though and if people go to you for information that’s totally ok!

Not everyone uses euro bricks or Instagram to get the information so I distribute it out and also give my opinion on it. That’s not what you implied though. You said you leak stuff and that you make videos on them, not you make videos on other people’s leaks. There’s nothing wrong with that, but don’t make out to be something you’re not for views Edited August 13, 2020 by sammy_zammy

He didn't say that he knows more than us did he? Only thing I learn from him is that the d2c sets might have left the factories. I don't think he is a big leaker like falconfan but rather a "leaker" that covers news. I don't want to start a war or something like that so lets stop and continue the talk. Edit. The only thing he said was seeing the ldd d2c and that could be fake He said "I'm a big leaker on YouTube". I appreciate the videos about this stuff, but I agree with others in saying that you can't claim to be a leaker if you're just sharing info that's publicly available (even if it is hard to find on IG).
strangely Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 He makes legoleak news videos, he already stated he knows as much as the rest of us. This doesn't need to escalate to the usual witch hunt.

I feel like I probably should be one so I can get the points from the DA. Do I need to buy something to start an account or can I start one ahead of time? You should be able to sign up online without purchasing anything. https://www.lego.com/en-us/vip this is the link to the US VIP site, if the link isn’t working or you’re in another country it’s pretty easy to get to from the shop@home homepage. Just open the drop down menu and the link saying ‘VIP’ with a little crown should be towards the bottom.

If he said that he was a big leaker (sorry I probably missed that) then I agree getting people's leaks and claiming that they are yours isn't what a leaker is. But I'm fibe with him making youtube videos about leaks because before I found instagram this was where I took leaks from.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what he called himself (“a big leaker”) and what he implied (i.e. that he’s known this info about Diagon Alley for months and even seen some initial designs and other insiders info that has been sent to him). This is why I have so much trouble trusting all these so-called LEGO leakers. I don’t think falconfan even calls himself a “big leaker.” He complies leaks from other sites and runs a blog. In my mind, the only “big leaker” we’ve ever had for the Harry Potter series was @TheRandomBlocker who was a direct source of insider info and paid the ultimate price for sharing that info with us.
Metanoios Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Don`t be too hard on him. Justin, MandR and others were doing exactly that for years and some of their videos were actually good. During that time the leaks weren`t distributed as fast over the interwaves as they are now. Though once they get into the Ambassador program and are getting actual info from Lego early, they tend to not report on it in their videos and wait to get the green light from Lego. Because they would loose their ambassador status and the chance to get early review copies sent by Lego. That`s why MandR is still making more leak videos than Just2good because he didn`t get in (Solid brix studios did) The problem nowadays is filtering out the noise from fake leakers.

YetiZombie Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Anyway, in other news, a seller on Mercari is already selling the series 2 minifigures for $20 each

Modal Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Yea I don’t think anyone is meaning to be hard on him, there’s just a lot of skepticism with “leakers” considering all of the crap that’s been claimed by people. I know Lego encompasses a lot of age groups so We should try to be careful not to be too hard on anyone ☺️
Brick Clicker Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Sorry if I gave everyone the wrong idea of who I was. I report on the news and leaks and give my opinion on it. I am not the direct source for the leaks but I am heavily involved in the community hence why I knew a few bits not everyone else did. Hope that makes it clear what I do and sorry if I gave out the wrong image to you all
Metanoios Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 "Roads!!! Where we`re going, we don't need roads!" I don't think there will be a lot of pavement, maybe in front of some buildings like the Daily Prophet office or Florean Fortescue a few studs (3-5) deep but not more to accomodate a sitting area. However not in front of larger shops with a big interior like WWW or F&B

That`s why MandR is still making more leak videos than Just2good because he didn`t get in (Solid brix studios did) MandR has been in the LAN for quite a few months now and he does still do 'leak' videos, by which I mean he gathers info from places, including this forum, and makes a video. He did mention recently in a video he was getting pressure from people not to make those videos which he thinks is crazy considering he is only compiling information from elsewhere and making a video on it and I agree with him. He's not technically 'leaking' anything himself and it's often funny to watch his 'leak' video and see him reporting the info we've already been discussing and sometimes even screenshotting this forum. ?
karrit Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Sorry, I take issue with wannabe nobodies trying to profit off of others by rehashing info with useless pictures of old sets when describing in details all about upcoming new items using info obtained from other sources with no credit given to the original source. This is why I try to avoid YouTube.
