LegoDakin Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 OMG this series looks to already be better than the previous series with these 9 released so far. A Luna lion head, new monster book of monster, hat hair combos for Dumbledore & Sprout, a new Fawkes.

I wouldn't say Harry, Hermione and Ron (Hogwarts clothing), Malfoy, Grindelwald, Moody or Cedric are darker/less interesting than the ones on the packaging.
lego_guyon02 Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 I'm pretty sure Griphook comes with a key, can anyone make out Luna's accesory (if she has one)?
BacktoBricks Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 (edited) These look amazing! Sprout, Luna, Myrtle, Bellatrix, Fawkes and Dumbledore with his hat, Kingsley. I've re-watched the films in the last couple of weeks and all of these were figures on my wishlist. And to think there are another seven figures we have yet to see. 2lazeetomakeaname Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 I hope myrtle has a toilet lid accessory

Nerd-with-a-Pencil Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 FINALLY A KINGSLEY MINIFIGURE Myrtle, Richard Harris Dumbledore, and the Monster Book all look incredible as well
Robert8 Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 (edited) God these look great. Dumbledore has to be my favorite, followed by Bellatrix. This pretty much confirms the rumors of the delay were fake This also confirms someone will be out of their job After being so careful with the most recent series, this comes and leaks almost 6 months before the release date. From the remaining 7 figures, Hermione and Ron have to be there, right? Im surprised they are not in the bag Edited March 14, 2020 by Robert8

I honestly hope they aren't included. The one Harry variant (while unnecessary imo) was inevitable but there are much better figures they could do than just another bland variant of the Trio Bellatrix's inclusion has to mean she's in one of the August sets right?

I would respectfully disagree; when I say ‘interesting’ I mean ‘has an exciting new mould’ or ‘has a wanted animal’ or at least ‘is colourful’ Series 1 showed off the Nifler, new snake, and the mandrake on the packet, and the remaining animals were not new/exclusive. This packaging is showing off the Phoenix front and centre, and also the monster book. I would say therefore that the absence of a Pixie, or Fang the Dog or werewolf likely means they are not in this series unfortunately

(Sally, Disney CMF Hair) Aunt Marge & Bulldog, purse Firenze the Centaur The Grey Lady & Ravenclaw Diadem Lockheart and other favourites are missing as I think if they were in the series they would be on the bag packaging, so that’s why the rest of these figures are a bit darker/less interesting I think Hermione will be the winter version from Deathly Hallows or the cat version from Chamber. Firenze is likely because of the new mould from the centaur set. Cho in the Yule Ball outfit is unlikely because they could put her in the calendar. Kreacher is far more likely with the diadem Since they are revisiting Chamber with Myrtle, Dumbledore and Sprout, maybe Ron is in Slytherin Robes as Crabbe

Roebuck Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Looked a lot less fake the pictures on Promobricks I must admit Sprout looks great, but strange she do not have the mandrake mould Luna is fine with the lionhead, was too perfect for Lego to leave out with their obsession with costumed characters Dumbledore looks spot on and will go perfect with the privet drive set. We have already have a few of him, but if they had to use a spot on him in the CMF to get Fawkes I am more than happy Lego did because he looks spectacular It is great to get Kingsley! Another Neville in the CMF The book and He look fine, but we need other students more.. Bellatrix looks great, but so did the first one. Off course I am fine with them including her since she is new this wave Harry looks a bit Harry and we get him in almost every set, but impossible do leave out Myrtle is fabulous to get for the first time, but maybe that means no COS anytime soon Griphook is more or less a new fig also (looks like a key in is hand?) 7 figs to go so I hope for several more animals and new figs hopefully without Ron and Hermione since that would mean 2 spots gone..
The Pearson Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 The only complaint I have so far is Griphook. I realize that a lack of noses is typical Lego style, but Griphook looks so odd without one.
BrickBob Studpants Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 These look stunning but what is going on? How come Itaria was wrong? Well, now I hope he is, imagine having to wait till next year
Metanoios Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 They wouldn't let sellers like the one in the LUG forum order already if it was pushed till next year.

Bugbot20082 Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 (edited) Overall this series looks great and I can’t wait to collect all of them ☺️ By the looks of the fun variations like Luna, Neville and Dumbledore I hope this means that the series will also sell well and there should be a series 3 in another year or so: there is plenty more left they can do for another great series :) Edited March 14, 2020 by Bugbot20082
BacktoBricks Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 It's crazy how these little figures can make me feel as excited as a child at Christmas again. The only person again noticeable by their absence to me is Lockhart. But I think this little line up proves Lego knows / is listening to what we want so I have a feeling he will turn up somewhere is the next wave or two.

I see your point but for me as a castle-/fantasy-MOCer the hair piece with the ears is much more useful like this. Thy can still give him a mould down the line, because by the looks of it this theme could stay a long time.
Balrogofmorgoth Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 What I don’t like about this Dumbledore is that it kinda renders the other Richard Harris Dumbledore figure obsolete. The other one had grey hair and beard and this one has white and is updated in every way. So the one from the GH and advent calendar is kind of obsolete now
