Well you probably saw the ig story by now, but it says they are printed. I wonder if both of the centaurs from the forbidden forest set will look exactly the same.

I really hope they’re not identical

If they just have different faceprints and the rest is the same I'm fine with it

Same that’s fine, I just wouldn’t want them to be the exact same figure.

Are these sets a June release? Assuming it’s the same release everywhere unlike the last two years

First wave in June, the 2 unknown sets in August and the AC in September

Leakers know what at least one of the August sets is. I hope they come out with the information soon

I hope so too but looking at the past we're most likely just going to get a few hints for the next couple of weeks and that'll be it

:moar: Feed us, FEED US

So far, this year‘s offerings sound amazing. If they play their cards right with the remaining sets, this could easily be the best year for LEGO HP ever

*Assuming* the remaining 2 sets are the burrow, a ministry of magic set, and the D2C is real (being the rumoured Diagon Alley) I would expect to get Fenrir, Bellatrix in her black dress, Lucius, Narcissa and hopefully a generic death eater from GoF... we need more evil!

I think printed legs for Luna is the right decision. The dress piece works well for long dresses, but Luna's Slug Club party outfit is short. And I can't wait to see those centaurs! Childhood dream. :excited:

I really hope that Luna figure comes with a skirt piece. Just the torso printing with unprinted legs would look really bad

Centaurs will have Dumbledore's hair in black btw (so they probably aren't supposed to represent any specific centaurs)

Maybe the hard plastic disney dress part could work?

I’m quite surprised about the choice of hair for the centaurs if that is true, I would have thought LotR orc hair or at least Legolas’s hair would be better as they have the pointy ears. The orc hair also has the bonus of being compatible with a quiver.

Otherwise I’m quite happy for them to be identical/generic in design, it’s a dream come true we have any at all :)

Maybe to enable variety while keeping cost down they can do what they did with the LotR ghosts and orcs and have the same head with a set of alternative faces

I dunno, I think a silver version of the Trolls 2 skirt could've worked better than printed legs. Also, if Luna uses normal legs, she'll be taller than the HBP Luna from the CMF, which would be odd. Still excited for the head and torso, though.

If the Burrow isn't the D2C, I would assume it's Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade. There aren't THAT many large yet popular locations in HP.

For the record I hope I didn't just curse this and the D2C is miniscale Hogsmeade.

That's the piece I used for mine.

Is the Dumbledore hair the new one from the Great Hall set? Where is that info from?

Really looking forward to them!

Has anyone else read the Instagram post which gives us a description of the interior of the Astronomy Tower? Apparently we are getting the Ravenclaw common room, I think it’s quite exiting that Lego is giving some love to the two lesser known houses, that been Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. I just hope it’s a large area and an upstairs for the dorms.

Yeah, it's been known for quite a long time.

Pretty sure it will be just a small “taste” of it like every room we’ve been getting.

To get proper/complete interiors, I think they would have to be stand alone sets, like the ones they released back in 2000’s. The room of requirements set will be the first since the reboot of the theme.

What do you all think is the probability of us getting HP battle packs like Star Wars so you could have complete quidditch teams for each house as well as some students from each house?

This would actually be a dream

I feel like the common room will take up 2 floors due to the emphasis on how large the astronomy tower is supposed to be and we only know it to have slug horns office, astronomy classroom and the ravenclaw common room so to make it taller I'd say they'd add the dorms.

Regarding the cmf I love how they all look so far and Lego definitely seem to be favouring CoS with the privet drive set, the Tom riddle minifigure and now a sprout (who most prominently appeared in CoS) a moaning myrtle (who I'll definitely be sticking in the prefects bathroom), and a Dumbledore based on CoS.

I kinda hope tonks doesnt come in the cmf because then they'd have less possible characters for a ministry of magic set. Not saying that that set is confirmed at all but I think it would be a good idea to fill the last 7 seven slots with characters who dont belong anywhere in particular. I'd say we'll get Ron and hermione and maybe another Harry like series one. A Lockhart or pompfrey could definitely do as well. So could Sirius to avoid having a death scene in a ministry of magic set (that could instead have a harry(possessed face) Ginny, bellatrix (using new mould) tonks, gambon's Dumbledore who's very absent in this wave) and maybe Voldemort to have a batch of 6 like the quidditch pitch.

With the Astronomy Tower being the tallest tower in Hogwarts I'd say it would need at least 4 or 5 floors for it to be taller than the Marble Staircase Tower we got in the Great Hall set. Though I do think there's a chance LEGO will ignore this in-universe detail and we'll have to make it taller ourselves

Just a quick note on Tonks in OotP and HBP, she only wears four very similar outfits - Flight from Privet Drive (she undoes the buttons of this in the scene at the dining table where she morphs the beak nose), MoM battle (same coat, different shirt) and Battle at the Burrow. The most different outfit is the one she wears to escort Harry to King's Cross.

You're forgetting the Battle of Hogwarts
