THELEGOBATMAN Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 It's so nice that we're getting Hufflepuff Quidditch torso in such a cheap book, same goes for Lucius from a $400 set. I will definitely buy both of those books.
lego_guyon02 Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Glad to see the Hufflepuff Quidditch robes and Lucius become easier to obtain for those who can't afford DA but I must admit Lucius slightly annoys me. But that's just because DA had a very weak selection of figures More people will be able to get it so that's obviously great

Still, as far as Lego goes, I would just be happy with any Durmstrang variant at this point
Seaber Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 The Quidditch robes and Lucius fig were always quite likely to appear elsewhere, the photographer and variants for the trio, Ginny, Fred, George, Molly and Lockhart are quite likely to stay unique to DA.

I just wish we could get an OOTP Lucius. Someday perhaps

His job was to bring the screenplay to life, not the book the screenplay is based on Btw, I just thought of something: We might learn quite soon whether LEGO FB will ever continue or not. Now that the next movie has officially been pushed back again, the length of the next set list (e.g. from the 2HY catalogue) will be decisive proof. If it stays the same as the one we know of, then FB as a subtheme is toast. Sure, you could argue that TLG learned about that much earlier than the public did a couple of days ago and the list had already been altered by that point. However, that would mean that @Guyon2002’s list would have been even longer initially, and frankly, that’s just hard to believe
Marvelous Spidey Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Lucius being available for a lot cheaper is such a relief, I love the DA set but there's just no way I could justify spending $400 on one set (irregardless of if it's worth it or not)

Ravenclaw62442 Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 The Quidditch book is up for Pre-order on Amazon.co.uk so... I’ve preordered 7.

I don’t get Brickheadz but this one was just too cool for me not to keep. I only have that one and the Mando and Child one. Don’t really feel the need to get any others. Looking back, improbably would have gotten Boba but I just didn’t, doesn’t bother me too much though.

Well it is more of a indication I would say, we do not know for sure before the films finally comes out However if they remove sets it is pretty likely they where from FB. On the other hand some sets in other themes do come out even if the film is delayed, so we may end up getting sets especially if they are from the first 2 films

Especially if it’s the only way to get them. I only collect Harry Potter Lego so my budget isn’t hampered by other themes. Although the Razor Crest is tempting... Just need an affordable way of getting 7 Ravenclaw robes!

I’d say it’s more than just likely In my estimation, if the list stays the same in two months, then the FB subtheme is as dead as a doornail Why would there be FBAWTFT or CoG sets in the 2021 line-up but none based on the third one? Unless TLG were informed WAY in advance that FB3 would not be able to make its deadline, and immediatedly stopped the set design process, of course. Doesn’t sound likely to me though since the delay had two reasons: the pandemic and Depp’s exit (and subsequent recasting, which takes time), which just happened. Of course the film likely would have been delayed anyway, but there has to a reason they made a statement on both matters at the same time. Maybe they had hope they’d still make it until the outcome of Depp’s trial finally shattered their illusions 20 minutes ago, Roebuck said: On the other hand some sets in other themes do come out even if the film is delayed [...] Are you refering to the Ecto-1? There are two major differences here: Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been pushed back “only” a year and back when the set production started, the film’s release date was still in March. The second delay was rather recent. The set contains no spoilers for the film (which is most likely the reason it doesn’t include any minifigs )

I should know - I was doing okay with just HP until the Mos Eisley Cantina came along. I can't help but think that Lego will do a Quidditch pack with one set of Quidditch robes from each house either this year or next and then getting Ravenclaw robes will be a lot easier.

There is supposed to be another accessory pack. That would be my guess

Kids’ Books like this almost always come down much cheaper than that... Then again I guess you can cancel.
Juve Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 I dont know if its ok to write this here but basically I need an advice. For around 200 dollars I can get either Pirates of the Carribean Queen Annes Revenge or Disneys Castle. My plan was to save up until I can get DA. What do you think. Since these deals are good should I just buy one of them now and buy DA later?

DA will probably be around for a good couple of years and the Disney Castle is still in production. If you intend on getting all three start with the set that is retired. :)
